If I am thinking right, this is a little cloth/fabric filter that sits ontop of the Cusco can. It looks like a little Apex cone pod.
You do know this is a defect. I would imagine that you get pulled over and the cops see the wisps of oil smoke curling off the top of the filter...

Well I need a new one. My rb25 has a reasonable amount of work on it; gonna sit with a garrett snail and manifolds.
I like the stock one as they can't defect you for it. But it is ok for 200rwkW+ applications?

Price could go up a lot. But the thing is that GT-R's are very very common in Japan.
I would imagine that there are more 32 and 33 GT-R's in Japan than there are ready buyers in Aust. and NZ.
Of course the GT-R is certainly not an inexpensive car to run...

You'll get used to it. I thought there was no way I would get used to my twin plate. I still stall it in reverse and reverse parking is a pain but hey, as long as it doesn't break.

Sounds like entrapment/harrassment.
If you weren't much over the limit and they did not follow you for long and have no gun reading, it sounds like they were just picking on a GT-R owner...
What right do they have to tailgate you?

I had some good work on my car done by a mob in Silverwater. Weren't that cheap IMO but they did good work and the car did not move from their workshop (they didn't hoon it).

Oh that's great news!
I had the impression the new rules also affected 15 y.o cars.
Then I am on the lookout for a 15 y.o GT-R fully decked out, fully s1k

Obviously 1989 models are now coming up for sale.
So what do you think about these? I would imagine these would have be close to stock after May but still.
Maybe 1990/1992 models will be coming up soon next year. They certainly will not be a cheap car to run but certainly fun.
I am wondering
