  1. I pulled the vtc mechanism off the intake cam gear to get some powdercoating done. when I came to install it I realized the cam gear is slotted where the VTC unit is bolted onto the gear. From the front of the motor you see the thread end of the bolts that are holding the VTC to the gear so it's not noticeable unless you have pulled the intake cam gear. So it leads me to this#1 I kinda screwed myself since I don't know what position I should tighten the VTC unit onto the camgear. Since the solenoid drives the cam and the gear is driven from the belt it ends up screwing with my cam timing since its acting like a adjustable cam gear and I have no reference points to go from... #2 so I guess the OEM RB intake cam is adjustable from the factory? its just doest't have timing marks but if I marked it before I took it off I would be able to adjust a few degrees off the stock position. Only problem is the gear needs to come off for adjustment and it would require a dyno run to see if you are hurting or helping lol anyways... any chance someone has a picture of the backside of a intake cam gear so I could see the orientation of the VTC unit in respect to the gear
