  1. Trying to find a R31 wagon, not many being advertised at the moment so I figure id chuck a post up here. It is for some German friends that will be travelling around in it so id like it to be in a fairly RW state but if there are faults with it just let me know, i don't want to find them something then turn around and make them spend a shit load fixing it. Pref it to be in Melbourne area but I may consider travelling for the right car/price.
  2. After 3 space savers to roll my project car around on for now, wreckers wanted too much so i was hoping some people here have striped out their cars and have them sitting in the shed.
  3. i only need the front, rear end is live axle, hit me up on 0438690611 if you just wanna get rid of fronts.
  4. Hi All, I'm after some knuckles from a S13 or S15 and the 5 stud hubs to match. I will give preference to a set with the abs rings and location for sensor. I don't need any of the brakes ect as I have R33 callipers that I will be using. Cheers Cam
  5. I need a set of s13 coil overs, honestly I don't care the condition would rather cheep stuffed ones as im using them to make up my front end conversion, and could use the rears to figure the rear end placement of strut towers, before I order a good set. Ph on 0438690611 or PM me
  6. any one able to shed a bit more light on this?
  7. Yeh its going to all be 5 stud cos the rear is already 5 stud.
  8. Just having some issues with the details of this conversion. Are the parts listed correct? R33 Rotor R33 Calliper S14 or 15 Front Hub (5 stud) What knuckle do I use? I figure its S13 but can I use S14/15's? I have had issues finding a list of parts as by the sounds of things its common knowledge...but I do toyota not nissan so I'm sorta lost here. Cheers Guys
  9. Need to find out how wide the r33 rear end is drum to drum (or wheel mounting face to wheel mounting face if you wan to be technical) just so i can figure out if its a suitable IRS to go into my AE86 Cheers
  10. I think I may have a solution...R33 GTSt space savers, have them chopped up and re welded with 8" wide dish and choice offset! may not look the best but it works well and it cost effective, plus if I smash a rim I don't care as much as a $2700 set of works...I can always find some nice daily rims for it later when I can use spacers!
  11. im thinking +40 may be waay too much still, at the moment im running 15x6 -4's, any after market off the shelf rims have like +10 up to +20 may be right?
  12. The standard GTSt rims are 16x6.5 and the r32 GTR rims are 16x8's ill have to pop down to the local import wreckers and check em out tomoz morning.
  13. I'm using the rotors and callipers front and rear of an R33 GTSt on my AE86, now I want to find out what rims are available in 16" (remember its a corolla to that is the largest I can fit) that will clear the brakes from the R33 and have minimal offset as the general +40 area of offset hits struts in a massive way. As far as the width of the rim 6" or 7" is prob all I need as offsets aint in my favour so a slimmer rim will be nicer as its getting engineered. My pcd is 5x114.3 so if you have had low offset 16's on your 33 GTSt let me know what they are
  14. I found a couple places down here that sell em $90 for the front pair and $70 for the rear pair, so I'm up for $230 in sealing kits...ah well all i need now is these torque specs...
  15. Yeh I found a trick with these is use a bunch of mdf strips and try and keep them centred then blow the things out a lil, remove a strip, blow a lil more, repeat till on pops out then the others will also almost be out.
  16. i checked out the for mentioned file but it keeps freezing up every few pages...any one got the values cos i sure as hell aint finding em any time soon with that file
  17. Where did you get the rebuild kit? also where can i get the tightening torques for when i stick the 2 halves back together? i watched a few youtube vids and it seems easy enough...just keep it all clean and i should be good....
  18. Just want to know if any one had done a how to vid or a step by step write up on how to rebuild callipers? I'm needing to rebuild one set of fronts and 2 sets of rears for use on my AE86 and don't feel like parting with the extra $300 in labour when I could prob do it myself given the instructions. Can anyone help?
  19. Prize for low power...hey my car may win something here.
  20. Get an AE86! I said it before but they are a very good choice, they are increasing in value, you can afford to get a JDM trueno (and a rather clean one at that) and they go hard. Last night i joined in on a hills run and kept up rather easily through all the twists and even on the straights, once the cruse was finished there where a few guys asking if my car was turbo, these cars rev so hard and just go cos they have no weight, my car was the oldest and lowest power and only NA car there but if you keep the revs up you can run with the big boys. Plus its Toyota, reliability is what they are known for. Plus my 86 is only a 16v if you had the cash you could go for a black top 20v. And if you dont want to spend much now get a KE70 with the 4age 16v or 20v in it, you wont lose money on them as they are also on the up and up. they are the same floor pan as the 86's almost the same weight, and they look killer slamed with some -10 rims with some dish and rolled guards and the quad headlights. IMO if you going NA you need a light car, simple!
  21. Get an AE86, i have 2 of em and admit they are awesome fun, its a go cart you can register plus once your off your p's you can sell it and not lose any money cos they are on the up and up price wise. For your budget you could get a real nice JDM one too.
  22. Hey All, Slowly getting the AE86's engine swap under way and I will need to move the clutch master cylinder off the fire wall as it will hit the right hand bank of the engine, after much faffling about with KE70 clutch pedals and stand alone boxes form tilton and the likes I have figured that the simplest way to do this would be with a pull type master cylinder, while i have found that AP racing make one its supposed to be approx $500 i also saw that some skylines may use a pull type cylinder. Is this true? If so what models use this and if any one has/can get me a part number or pictures of it that would be appreciated as ill be asking wreckers for the parts and Ive found they tend to grab what ever is generally closest thing that may do what Ive asked for. Cheers
  23. Got some R33 GTS-T calipers from the wreckers and wanna get em reco'd, can anyone recommend somewhere in or around Melbourne that do a good job?
  24. Hey All, Just picked up a set of front and two sets of rear r33 calipers to stick on my AE86 and i want to get a hold of some disks to help fit em up, disks can be undersized, cracked, slightly warped and generally stuffed. If your car is up for a new set of disks dont throw your old ones out just give me a yell. Not realy offering any cash as what i want is rubbish, but i guess i could throw in a tenna to make you happy. Call me on 0438690611 if you have some sitting round, I'm in melbourne SE side but i can travel a bit to pick disks up. Cheers
  25. Thanks for the help guys but they are not quite what I've seen, the filters i was looking at look exactly the same as an 044 pump apart from the terminals. Ill go through the HPI mags here and see if i can find the picture of it and load it on here.
