  1. Hi Mac, No problems up to ard 6-6.5mark. but have not tried slow/low acceleration. Will try when i have the chance to. Cheers Daniel
  2. Hi GTST, Well I guess so cos I'm on 12x,xxxkms now. That's what i was thinking too in that line. Thanks for all the help Cheers Daniel
  3. Hi Mac, So that being said...Cos I suspect that my plugs may not be up to mark any more (yet to remove to see or even change), or could even be my coilpacks going? Cos normal driving it ok, Pulls hard until ard the 6k -6.5k mark that the said problem starts. Cheers Daniel
  4. Hi GTSTBoy, Is it a direct plug and play? Cheers Daniel
  5. Hi Mad, So if i had mine converted to manual (R34Gtt, FMIC, aftermarket Radiator, Turbo Back exhuast) can i just plug and play the manual ECU? Or there is wirings I need to swap around or cut or rewire?? If need to cut and rewire or whatever do you know which wires are they on the harness or pin number to which?? Cos I'm experiencing Rev cut around 6k or 6.5k mark. Is this to do ith the ECU?? Thanks Daniel
  6. Hi GTSBoy, Besides HKS Turbo back exhuast and FMIC nothing else. TCS works properly as it should be. Turbo is stock standard. On the auto ECU and normal driving and spirited driving is ok but try to pull it pass 6k rpm on any gears it'll just won't go pass that. Anyone experience that with tthe AUTO ECU after conversion? Cheers Daniel
  7. Hi all, Need advice from those who have done conversions. I had my conversion (R34GTT box, manual parts) done about a year ago. But ECU was not changed. Noticed that around 5500 to 6000rpms seems it goes to rev limiting mode it doesn't allow to go pass that but when in autobox (before conversion) in auto mode it doesn't go pass 5500rpms before changing gears and in triptronic mode it does happen. Is it because of the AUTO ECU?? Everything else runs perfect only this issue. So if it possible to just plug and play the Manual ECU? (Read in a thread in here that certain sensors won't work like the TCS) or is this only affect those converion that uses the R33 box. Or is it because the coils or plug reaching their time to change? Or the AUTO ECU has got Rev Limiter to protect the autobox itself?? Thanks for the help in advance. Cheers Daniel
  8. Hi Bubba, So can bolt up but not able to use. okie thanks. Cheers Daniel
  9. Hi, Would like to know if the R34 Gtt autobox can be fitted into the R33GTST?? Cheers Daniel
  10. Hi would be keen on it. It will be my first time playing a track in Aussie. Done it in Sepang and Pasir Gudang Malaysia before coming over to perth 2 yrs ago. Let me know. Might have a mate or 2 who might be keen.
  11. Hi anyone knows if the radiator cooling panel for the R34 GTT coupe and 4 door sedan are they the same?? Cheers Daniel
  12. Anyone here tried the Blue Streak stiletto? Are they any good? Thinking of getting them. cheers Daniel
  13. Hi Robjay What belt did you change? timing belt or the normal belts? For the oil could be wrong engine oil specs it maybe 15w/40 but the API Spec is below what is required, it may also be the wrong Specs totally like maybe using too thick of a oil like 15w/50. As for the knocking sound of the brakes might be the mounting bolts that they remove to flip the calipers to access the pads are not tighten properly. Had this myself once after brake pad change and forgotten to tighten it tight but just tight. As for the rest or more possiblities i rather not post here as it could be potential court case for me. I have never trusted all this "***PM ME FOR NAME***", or so call big companies due to a few things of my other cars that i have gotten quote for repairs and such that it will cost me 4 times more than my "back yard" (workshops found in industrial areas but not BIG franchiees types still Mita certified) mechanic charges. Eg: My wife's 92 lancer had pick up problems took it to my mechanic told him the symptoms test drove with him and told me during the drive the distributor cap is fark and would cost me about $90 original champion (which mitsubishi uses) plug cable and the brush in the cap all changed but he could do it that day due work load. So i drop by my area's ultra tune quoted around $350 to $400, Auto masters $350 to $450 for trouble shooting, parts generic as they say original will cost too much for an old car and labour. Chances are also that for $130 service package I really doubt the type of oil they use more likely than not its just ordinary minerial oil not suitable for turbo cars. Personally if i were you driving a import car i rather do this minor servicing and trouble shooting and repair myself, and i'm sure all the bros in here would agree too as the moment they see its and import they bring out their sharpen swords to hack you. "OH IT COST SO MUCH IS BECAUSE ITS AN IMPORT SO THAT PARTS ARE VERY MUCH MORE EXPENSIVE" line Look up KYP and look for Ben...he did my manaul conversion and i've no complains about his work and also willing to share info or quries that you 'll have My 2 cents worth
  14. Parts wise shouldn't have any probs. At most ordering from interstate wreckers. Like all import cars. Cheers Daniel
  15. Hi would like to know anyone out there in Perth who knows any shocks rebuilder?? Cheers Daniel
  16. Sine its already at 96,000kms before you buy it of the importer Ask him about having them change the timing belt and water pump out under their cost or if not at least 50/50. I did that with mine no probs from the importer. Cheers Daniel
  17. My 2cents worth. Well Total oils are good stuff. I myself been using Royal Purple fully syn. So long as you are using not just the viscosity (15W/40) the API Spec must also be equal or higher.
  18. Hi all out there, Just had my r34 4dr converted to a manual. And just managed to get myself a manual steering wheel . Have been looking into the forum in regards to the proper way of removing and installing the steering wheel for a R34 but to no avail. Can those out there who had a conversion done on the R34 and changed the steering wheel give me a hand with the "instructions" on who to do it. Cheers Daniel
  19. Hi mate, I know the airbag on the steering has gone off but do you have a pic of it and what is the condition like? Cheers Daniel
  20. Hi everyone out there am chasing for a R34 series 2 manual steering wheel....Its ok if the air bag has been deployed or no airbag as long as the wheel is in good nick and no wearing of the leather.. If you have one drop me a SMS on 0423953151 Cheers Daniel
  21. Hi would like to know if anyone knows and can advice. I have a R34 gtt 4dr and doing a manual conversion. Is the manual dash cluster just a matter of plug and play or there are wires that needs to be cut or is the plugs behind totally different?? Cheers Daniel
  22. Hi sorry to miss out the info. Its a stock R34 4dr Gtt wing/spoiler with 4 mounting studs at the bottom. Cheers
  23. Hi bros and sis out there. Would like some help in regards to installing of the rear wing. Bought a rear wing from fellow forumer in here over the east. So mine's a 4 dr gtt. So now would like to install it but dun know how far forward or back to fit it. And one with a 4 dr Gtt with the stock wing car to measure and let me know or have ever do it before to guide me? Or anyone staying in Ellenbrook care to lend a hand?? Cheers Daniel
  24. Hi I know I have asked this before. But all have told me Dex-III for my auto Trans is the one. But what I would like to know is what is the quantity required and have anyone done a flush themselves? If you have pointers would be good. I have done it on my Mitsubishi Delica before after reading up on the net in regards to a D.I,Y auto transmission oil change in the Delica Forum. Problem was on my delica it shudders when shifting from 2nd to third so drained the pan and top up it did nothing so did whatwas in the delica forum and it solved the issue and shifting was bloody smooth that you dun relly feel the shift but just the rev meter moving up or down when shifting. So did the Flushing and all but cause i know the quantity iin the auto box. (Eg in the delica there's 8.9 liters in there so i drained the pan dry ( 2liters ) and pulg it back up top up 2 liters and unplug the cooler outlet that's going back to the box. Start and shift thru the gears while draining out from the cooler outlet 2 liters , top up, start shift thru drain, until i get about 9liters out. Thereby replacing the new oil to the torque converter and the whole system. (Basically that's what the auto flush machine do replacing new oil into the system while its draining out the old oil.) So will this do for the R34 auto? So anyone knows how much oil in the whole auto trans box? Or just replace whatever that comes out?? Or have anybody done the whole system oil replacement a different way then this before? Please advise..Urgent buying the oils trying to get it done tomorrow with all the other oils, Engine, Auto and Diff. Cheers Daniel
