omg gazza my best mate brother bought the r30 and it had the rb20 already in it!!!!!!!!!!!!! Do you see now wot i ment and wot i said!!! yeh but R34 isnt it pretty hard to find a r30 licensed in perth???

LOL guys u obviously havent been readin properly cos ive said already that there is no engine in it! I bought it as is with no engine cos best mates brother took the original rb20 out and put it into his s13. But neways after talking to ppl at DPI and ppl that do the pit inspection, they are very picky so wot i have thought now is to make this a complete rebuild! Im now going hold off everything and strip everything down and rebuild the lot including a 5stud w/ R34 Brakes, all new bushes and cv joints and everything, cos now that i no that they will go through it with a fine tooth comb that it may not pass so easily. So now i will be taking pics of the full rebuild ok!!! Hope everyone tnks that this is a better option lol cos if not hahahaha DEAL WITH IT And if anyone is will to help out with nethin then just let me no here or pm me CHEERS

well today im going to look at and get pics of the rb20 that ive sourced out, so im gona be gettin that dropped in. Well i have major things for this, not much of a dyno king, but itll be there. its gona be build for a quick street car, show car, SPL car, and just a couple runs down the drags just to see portenial times... But yeh goin bak to see the car today as well as checkin out the engine so expect a few more pics up tonite!!!

lol yeh bois lol neways i was actually already thinkin bout the 25 lata but didnt no if it was a good choice between that and the sr20 (i no a guy usin a sr20det in a torana thats runnin 8s) But yeh i might even later wen i save the money for it upgrade the rear axle to a 34 so i have the brembos and the betta diff and stabelisors!!! But yeh its gona be atleast a 2 year build to make it perfect and running how we wont it so yeh gona be awesome!!! It has no engine atm that y if u look at the front pic closely, its raised bout 2"s... neways triston man if u wont ill pm u the list of stage mods im doin to make it more interesting and show u wont im up to at that time hehehe

ive done the whole thread on the sr20 conversion it was my first thought but dont have that sort of money for it! One thing i no of is that i would neva go r32 brakes as i have seen a mate ditch it with stock brakes and a stock engine on his r32 gtst. And if i was to go brake upgrade with 5 stud conversion id be lookin at the r34s and thatll be min bout 2gs and i dont have that yet so im leavin it as is for now, until i get some real big money behind me

luke man i have no choice i dont have a lot of money and i wont a turbo setup in it! This is the best way for me to learn and go for startes!!!

bugga cant remember the site i was reading about them! Well one of the old dr30s had only a few produced and im sure it was sayin theey ran early model rb20s.... If only i new wot the site was again. But yeh i new that the other model dr30 was runnin the fj20 cos on www.r31house.co.jp thats all they stock in there shop. But also that i one of the websites that is really good for dr30 and r31 parts... i was actually just readin up on the dr30s last nite wen i was postin! yeh the RS-X was the top dog with the rb20 early model and there were produces only 200 of them!!! so u got ya hands on a veary rare dr30 bro! That model was produced between 1984 and 1985 only a year of production cos only 200 made! And it was said that they are worth more then the R33s to this day so u lookin at sittin on a gold mine of about 14+ already haha

So thursday im pikin up stock steelies and puttin them on hahahaha hmmmm neways it has a 3" straight through exhaust on it already so once engine is install i just have to set it up with a cat and ill be rite! Best mate says that it sounded hell beefy b4 the other rb20 came out, so cant wait to hear it meself hehehe

hey boys cmon settle it!!!! This is my thread bout my car member not a bitch fight ova wots been done or not.... Neways mitchy i am talkin to an engineer (best mate) to start with cos thats who im gettin to install the engine as well as give me an engineering certificate after the install is done so that i can rego the car with the engine in it! but neways ive had a look at the car and its in nice condition, the brakes are fine to start with and im just gona get them shaved to start with then work on them wen i move onto stage 2 of my mods which is like upping the boost and internals etc....

Besides ime making the build in stages and to start off with im just installing engine to get it regod so i can just drive round and save to start moding it!!! But yes i already no that brakes would have to be the first things and im working on that, just not yet wen its only gona be a stock engine!!!

hahaha bois haha yeh soz thanks for that disturbd lol yeh ill be doin brakes but at first ill only be doin minor mods to start with then wen i get into full port polish and honed head and forged internals and bigger turbo and fuel and everything else is wen ill be doind brakes! But for now its just gona be a light build with just so i can rego the car!!! lol Also mitchy ive gone and got the latest issue of hot4s and in that was a crx in one of the cruise pages for a honda cruise in vic and this car look massivly like a shitty stock crx but man oh bloody man the shit it had in it was unbeliveable hahaha it even had a black painted FMIC hidin behind the stock front bar and this thing FWD was runnin somethin like 185kw at the front wheels lol massive for a B16 FWD... So i was actually thinking til i either get a custom front bar or a complete upgraded body kit (the one now is also awesome) ill prob go with the sleeper look for sure!!! hehehe just make it look like its just a plain old shitty rb30e skyline hahaha R32 driver the 040 is walbro and the 044 is the bosch im pretty sure as thats wot was advertised in modyourcar.com... but ill deff lookinto it again haha but yeh ill have full pics and everything on thursday for sure

well i no for a fact that my mechanical engineer in malaga (briffa engineering) does install them and if i take you there and introduce him to you hell do them for you durt cheap char! And yeh me mech has also been sayin that yeh adjustables are good for gains to start with cos you can change your power output in a certain rev range that you like! and then u can install cams to make it even better of a gain n the rev range! My engineer is a bloody good bloke i mean i took my cousins gt4 to him and he did some work to it and hated workin with it afta a while cos its a twin boost pressure and we were gona install a GFB atomic bc on it but it kept spiking cos of it and it just pissed him off lol But yeh neways if anyone needs somethin done let me no and ill ask him and see how much hell do it for and how long itll take for him to do it and ill let ya no! then ill just take you there to introduce him to you! Hes done many, many performance cars including a full rebuilt on a VL while installing a RB25 into it as well and i mean a 30k build hahaha!!!

yeh well my mod list will be to start with is FMIC, Adjustable cams, turbosmart eBoost 2, cold air intake, and then ill be dynon it to see power gains and shit and see from there!

lol na man budget is 3k that includes car, engine rego and install with my engineer which he will be thrown in a cert with the install costs

Hi peoplz, Just starting a thread up for my project for every one to see and have there view on it! Project: 84-86 31 Skyline Engine: Nothing in bay Conversion: RB20 I have bought the 31 from a good mate of mine and will be putting in a RB20. I will be going to have a look at the engine next thursday, as well as the car and ill also be picking up some rims (stock steelies) just so i can roll the car to my mechanical engineer that ill be helping with the coversion, if i have any time off work! And to get the car registed with the new engine in! I will have pics up of the car and the engine on thursday nite... The mods im looking at would have to be Adjustable Cams, Turbosmart eBoost 2, Deceptor Pro BOV, FMIC, Walbro 040 Fuel Pump, High Flow the T28 and possibly an external gate, Apexi AFC Neo, Apexi turbo timer, and many more (just cant think lol) NOOBZ

Might be a stupid question but ive been thinking!!!! is it possible to upgrade the cams to adjustables with stock internals?? Cos i was thinking of upgrading the cams first then get money together and then buy some upgraded camshafts. Can any one intighten me with this subject please cheers

yeh but after already asking around for an rb30 det seemed like it was like a rare engine unless i had it imported by someone!!! But ive come to the conclusion that ill be thrown in a rb20 and going from there! Hopefully it should get started with in a month!!! Ill be making a pull thread with buuild and pics for everyone, so i can hear everyones opinions and views on the car and install!!!
