  1. My almost std R35 is just 2 serious for public roads......with speed cameras setup even around most country towns and I'm not interested in track-days..........so I find myself driving my Holden V8 more and more and having fun without the fear of getting my car impounded . Will the day come where there will be a fast car amnesty ? PS: yes I still need that GTR fix now and then.......
  2. All good if you go New or know the History of the Car and naturally depending on how you Drive the Beast and if you can do some of the routine maintenance yourself..................

  4. " I still don't get the "value" aspect though, who cares about price difference " Certainly on the top of my list when I go shopping for anything...............but I know what ya saying.....BUT in the real world ..............
  5. " Does anyone know why Nissan does not let you purchase an additional 3 years warranty with the GT-R. " I have 40,000ks on my 09 R35 and it has been a faultless SuperCar for me since new but I never tracked it etc..... But being a high performance car that it is .....a few see track days and may also see other forms of FUN........ So one can understand that insurance on a 3 year old SuperCar can raise a few questions...............
  6. I have a set...but would like to have a go with a set of std ones as I reckon they will never crack .......I'm a DIY Guy...what can I say.
  7. " i really like the driving experience of the cayman. I was shopping a cayman s when i bought my M3 but this was before they up'd the power and offered the optional LSD. I loved the wrap around snug cockpit (which is what i loved most about my 350Z) and the mechanical noise of the engine and box behind me, but ultimately it lacked outright power " +1 Sold my Cayman S......also loved the seating posi and build quality but still not as good a handling car as my R35 and that's with half the ponies of my R35............ here is one of many GTR Domination Videos.......(old but good) http://www.wimp.com/dragrace/ and just endless Domination.......
  8. Is there anyone that can give me some help/advice on cutting the cats out of a set of std Downpipes.....
  9. Hey... Hoping someone has a set of AMS Downpipes for sale........... Also interested in buying a set of OEM / STD Downpipes .......Please PM
  10. "which is a huge feat for just their second cheapest entry level car" "You'll pay a minimum of $229,900 to enter the 991 ...3.8-litre Carrera S priced from $263,100, for the manual variant." And that's a lot more to pay for a car that just does not even handle as well as the R35........and the Pedals on the R35 are sweet with the Dual Clutch system............Forget stick shift..........tooooo slow . PS: Porsche need to give their Mid Engine Cayman BALLS and drop the Rear Engine design 911's.....................
  11. "And what about GT-R? PCA spokesperson Paul Ellis says: "GT-R is not a rival. People who buy the Nissan do so because they want our car and can't afford it." Ha Ha ..... Most know it as the Performance Bargain of the Century or the New Yard-stick ..........................
  12. Been told/asked the same by a few people...........Not an easy question to answer. Quiet happy to keep it at the end of the day II have a lot of toys and can't seem to get the time to play with them all...... The Car is basically a road registered "Class C LeMans" Race Car with working blinkers etc and handles like a DREAM and has a sound track to die for. Having Chev running gear with G50 Porsche Transaxle it is not only Bullet proof but also cheap to maintain. I have had many offers.....form swap's with Cash and asked if I would go a little lower on the asking price and not only have I declined but raised my asking price since..... So maybe I don't really want to sell it.......
