  1. do a kazza search.... i havent seen gtr thought... mainly USA muscle cars....
  2. astra if you got family... need 4 doors... otherwise type-r
  3. go to a mechanic and get them to adjust the freeplay of the clutch... so that it engages lower down..... should take a few minutes... be sure to come back on this site to thank me for my advice
  4. anyone got one? if so please pm me.
  5. i have used both the E01 and the Apexi Avcr. and both pretty much do the same thing. the avcr has gear based boost setting, but no one seems to know how to set it, or have advised to turn it off. avcr better screen, easier to set, can be more discreet when not in use. the E01 has the advantage of having a memory card. and can replay the boost figures in slo motion. very handy for setting the boost offsett across the rmp range i havent had a chance to play with the Blitz EBC, but was told that was the way to go... coz of the Dual Solenoid.... i'd suppose if your going to get the power fc then get the avcr with it.. if your going to get emanage then get the e01. :headspin:
  6. damm man, you got a gtr and you dont seem to know alot about cars. i'd assume you just bought the car. a good idea would be to change the oil/oil filter/air filter straight away. coz you dont know how old the oil is. you dont want to spin a bearing coz of old oil. for summer i would use 10/40. Amsoil i think is the best going around. Austoseed sells them. for $92 http://www.autospeed.com.au/cgi-bin/browse...duct=2001865006 another good brand is Redline. however that is around $139 for 5 litres
  7. my opinion. 10/40 minimum (if you must 10/30 synthetic minumum for winter) 15/50 for track. also, if car compays had a choice of using 10/30 or 10/40 weight oil, then they would recommend the 10/30 wreght oil. why? coz 10/30 gives better fuel economy, thus lower emmissions (very important in the USA laws), more HP. also these recommendations are for NORMAL driving conditions. i.e rev to 3500rpm then change gears. but who here drives like that so for me 10/40 is absolute minimum for me. jmo
  8. i've seen quite a few recently in sydney not having them. or having them in ridiculouse positions where it cant be seen anyway.. like inside in the dashboard... or 10 cm inside the front spolier. or even little stickers... does anyone here know for certain whethere these are a REQUIREMENT to have in NSW. fanks :headspin:
  9. i written email to him re parts... no reply though...
  10. blitz, u think they ram raid in thier own wrx's? all ram raids, they use stolen cars, it just happens they use wrx's coz they have great traction/acceleration. maybe these guys would steal a gtst to ram raid.... but they know they won't b able to outrun a holden ss with one :shake: (j/k) i dont class any particular driver as an idiot, but you blitz can be classed as one
  11. [sarcasm starts] oh really, what about all the drug overdoses and drive by shootings around the Macquarie area [sarsam ends]
  12. hmmm was this FWD only? what engine does it have?
