tried this mod and it works like a charm but i decided to change the pressure switch ($73 and plus gas$50) and make the fan auto. but anyhow thanks very much for sharing it with us and 10 out of 10 for instructions.

low battery level will do the same in cold weather (loose charge) or battery may be just too old and need replacing due to glazing on cells

i had a similar isue but mine was ticking and all it was is the sprocket in the servo was frozen onto the shaft meaning pulled appart redrill hole in sprocket to suit shaft grease up and put together

what do you mean water got into your engine?if you have water in your engine dats not a good sighn.....if your car sits for a while is it hard to start with coughing splattering when it starts? or could it be the water cooling on your turbo leaking. with the noise try disconnecting the spark plug and listen for a difference if no reconnect and try the next one and let me know what you have found
