ok thanks for the help guys... i will try afm outta my mates line hopefully morrow... my cas i only couple months old..but will try my old 1 jut in case.. water temp sender ?? hmmm intreasting.. yeah i pulled my injectors out and got them tested and new o rongs went in... is there another way i can check for cooler pipe leaks...(like spraying something on them) thanks for the reply guys... :-)

hey guys and girls... i just got my rolla registed the other day wif a rb20det in it... and i am now having issues.. i had a look on a few fourooms and could really find wat i am looking for.. this is my prob.. the car runs fine for the first 5 to 10 mins. then it turns bad and runs rough and rich...then stalls and is nearly imposible to start.. i pulled the plugs out and checked them, they wear all fowled up and driping wif fuel. so i put new 1's in and it fixed my prob. i went for a lap around the block and buy the time i got back it was running rough and really rich again.. so i pulled my plugs out and the wear black and dripping wif fuel again. i thought i had coil pack problem..i pulled 1 of then put it back on then the next 1... ect.. and found i had 2 dodgy 1's, so brought new set and replaced all of them..and also cleaned my plugs and put them back in again... and went for another lap.. and then same prob again... i also pulled the plug of my afm and the car stalls pretty much straight away, is that normal. i also adjusted my cas abit an no changes still same thing... wat could make it run so rich it would fowel my plugs up so quickly?? anyone no wat it could be...or can someone put me onto a link to help me out.. anythings i can check?? i am outta idears cheers roger p.s sorry for spelling and shit...

yeah my spelling and typing isnt the best...i'll try to keep decent.. umm all i have done in mods is front mount and fuel pump.. i did do a search and it came up wif.. to check plugs / coild packs and afm for not starting... and if my rings wear gone wouldnt throw lots of wite / blue smoke out the zorst.? cheers roger

hey guys and girl... i am havin few problems wif rb20det... first of i recently been haing proble wif it starting when hot... say i come off the highway get home... let in wind down and turn it off... then come back 5 mins later it just wond over and over and wont start sometimess if u pumpit it will start then die again... i dont no wat it could be i checked plugs, coil packs ,afm.. and the all seem to be fine (tried them on another car)... anyone no what it could be... second... this might be causing my first problem... dont no but... i am seeming to pushing out alot of oil in my catch can.. i mean alot i almost filled the thing in way day... wat would cause this... i have benn told rb's are known for doing this.. but i didnt think it was that much oil... any help would be awsome thanks roger

hey guys and girls i am pulling down my rb20....and have run into a problem... i can't get my timing gear off the crank... i have read around and have heard that seize on... but cant get mine off at all... i am replacing oil pump cause i boke it tring to leaver my gear off...i alsoe tried getting in there wif one of the gear pullers.. but the gap isnt big enoug behind the gear.... so any help would be awsome... cheers roger

well i have 8 ls1 coils packs heaps of wire...soldier and iron and lots of plugs and stuff.. i wanna no how to wire it all in... cheers roger

hey guys and girls... i been trying to find on how to do the ls1/ ls6 coil pack setup on a rb20det.... i tried the serch junction thingy.. but just kept coming 'no matches found'... so if anyone could tell me or put a link so i can find out how to do it.. and wat would i need to do and upgrade to get it all to work... cheers roger
