  1. Hey, I am after the following parts for an R32 skyline: Interior on drivers side under dash and around steering wheel. Should include all screws. Rear view mirror with screws to attach. Glovebox with screws to attach. Bolt for spare tyre. Prefer someone in Sydney close to Penrith or Parramatta areas. Have cash and looking to purchase straight away. No stupid prices. PM or post a reply with details and price. cheers

  4. Hey will have mine for sale probably in a few weeks or sooner hopefully. pm if your interested
  5. BAMR33 - have you got any pictures you could put up? Just that I haven't seen any problems with the AP12 being too thick before. Yours might be different so if you can we can take a look...
  6. Look halfway down the front page of this forum: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Re...al-t250749.html
  7. That's sounding like the 'UV Cut' glass which came from the factory on later model imports (eg R34s, etc). It's a factory-fitted option, so it should be okay...
  8. NATS = Nissan Anti-Theft Security But no, your key doesn't need to be programmed. Just ask them to cut the key, without the electronics. Will cost you the same as a standard key.
  9. Green slip you will only need to arrange once the car has finished compliance. It only takes about 15 minutes to arrange green slip cover so don't worry about that too much for now. Personal plates take a few weeks so you should order them now if you haven't already. If your car is ready to register and the plates aren't ready, just register it with standard number plates and swap over the new ones when they are ready (or wait and do it all together). Immobiliser on the car wouldn't be up to standards for insurance anyway, you need one which is meets Australian Standards for insurance purposes.
  10. Speak to your workshop, they can best figure out what's the go with the aftermarket parts. Once it comes out of compliance, you need to take the following to the RTA - Engineering Cert, copies of the Import Approval and CIN documentation (the import paperwork), weighbridge ticket, blue slip. Usually the workshop should be able to arrange all that for you. Get green slip beforehand, go to RTA, pay fees for stamp duty, registration and number plates, and off you go. Don't forget to sort out at least third party insurance, and an immobiliser as soon as possible. Details are also here in case you need them: http://www.rta.nsw.gov.au/registration/get...edvehicles.html
  11. 6.5" speakers for the doors are generally the way to go.
  12. It's been my experience that once an imported car has been registered in one state, transferring it to another state is generally the same as any other (i.e. non-imported) vehicle. That being said, it definitely helps to have copies of all relevant documentation from the importation / initial registration of the car to avoid any hassles along the way.
  13. I've just re-registered the GTR so it has a full 12 months NSW rego on it.
  14. It shouldn't need an engineering sign-off Kristian, unless it's got more than the standard level of modification. The requirements are here: http://163.189.7.150/registration/getnewre...tevehicles.html Fairly easy, get a blue slip inspection (doesn't have to be at the RTA, a lot of mechanics/workshops can arrange), take documentation and pay RTA.
  15. It's exactly the same as importing from any other country. For a CL600 you would have to import it under the 'Personal Imports' scheme, and for that you need to have owned the car for at least 12 months whilst being overseas. So unless you go over there for a year, it's unlikely you will be able to import the vehicle in your name.
  16. Price dropped and first post updated. I'm now overseas working but the car is still for sale. Will be back in Sydney for a couple of wks in Christmas but I would hope the car is sold before then. I've had a few queries from interstate buyers - please do your own research in regards to whether it can be registered interstate, and consider the level of modifications on this car.
  17. Either - Use a battery with small terminals (they are available here) - Change the clamps over to larger ones to suit most normal ones - You can bend/hack the smaller clamps to fit over a larger post. Make sure that you use a longer securing bolt to ensure a tight grip. I've tried all three methods successfully.
  18. If Rego is out by less than three months, then the following page would be appropriate: http://www.vicroads.vic.gov.au/Home/Regist...egistration.htm
  19. Bump. Dropping to $27k ono. The only issue with the car is that the rear windscreen mounted brake light is hanging loose, as the mounting tape was removed when the car was tinted. It still works and wouldn't be more than a 5 min job to sort out.
  20. Well recommended. If you search on the forum his name will come up.
