  1. thx for welcoming me along, I'll come next one! take some pics! post it up =) the reason only 6 attendees because 7 voted for other resturant??? may be that's why!
  2. nah, i ask because it seems like only the same group of people going every time, so I will be very out of place except I own a skyline. =) any how... i'll let this one pass cause Manly is a bit of a drive for me and I have other things to do. Have a good one. i should go next one!
  3. so how many people end up going every montly dinner? I might be interested. only if I am welcome
  4. so chris you decide to not take any passengers?
  5. another free bump for you, it's been so long! no one in the market?
  6. I think any brand will do for coolants. Not an expert at it but it's a fairly basic chemical that has higher boiling point then water. Easy enough for manufacturer to make so there should be no real "best" formula.
  7. yeap, been there, done that...
  8. lol ok, then do that after me =) if not post it out at smaller cost... $5 is like here to NT
  9. hi hi... can i pick up my membership card and sticker off some one ??? my holiday is over soon! pls help
  10. =) that is to safe them self from warranty purposes... 1000kg rated and you used it on 1001kg... therefore warranty void! if you paid $$$ for this jack, I am sure it is strong enough to lift good loads! Not like me! $30 for a 1350kg and feel horrible with it is in use!
  11. mine are bent from the moment i've got my car =) ok, but the side members are sure strong enough? or should the stands be really at the cross members...
  12. is it alright to mix coolants? like I have no idea what brand it is in it already, my bootle is below the min mark as well! so I am going out there to buy some ready mixed green stuff. The radiator is full. I've checked... I don't know, I didn't get over heat or anything yet! but I wont' risk it! I have to top it up soon!
  13. well i've just read this one... place stands under sills, NOT rails... I don't know! Justify please wrxhoon. i've found this in skyline workshop manual
  14. alright, I am happy to share it with someone! haha... like split the cost, i don't suppose you need the jack every week! hahhaha
  15. duncan: can i borrow it , haha or even have it! =) j/k
  16. wrxhoon, yes, i take your word for it mate! it didn't sound right as soon as 2 wheels are off the ground, the spring was like , grung grung grung, gurnk ... and i can not lift it any more! it was so hard to pump it cause the stupid handle wasn't long enough! god damn! I just hope there wasn't any structual damage to what I did today! =(
  17. so was it actually alright to use a 1350kg trolley jack the whole front of the car? or is that already going overboard, cause I already heard noises from the trolley!
  18. and yes I did use the trolley to jack at the front cross memeber! with a block of wood, hardly any noticeable change after it's down. But take my advice, do not purchase the 1350kg jack from super cheap auto! the handle is too short, go for the heavy duty ones... like the next grade up! i fink this trolley jack is for little starlets! not skylines! any one can suggest a good trolley jack with a longer arm?
  19. Scary Story! I have got a 1350kg trolley jack which the handle was so short that I can't even pump it outside the car. (as in the handle's length is still can't be seen if you look from the top of car down). I've got it in the air how ever, it's extremely hard to lift it very high. I used normal jack to jack up more, then trolley up again, then jack up again then trolley until the stands fit under the sills. At this point, I placed the stands underneath each side's sill. and let go of the trolley jack, but oops, did it too fast with the release hydrulics... the car thumped down on to the stands! made a loud noise!!!!!! i was so freaked out! i thought it stabbed right through the cabin or something! But it didn't, I was pretty sure the gap b/w the stands and the sills weren't more than 2cm! I had real trouble getting the stands underneath the sills in the first place. When I did, there was hardly enough space for me to place a piece of wood in. I realised the noise came from the metals hitting each other, as in the sills and the stand, there was no visual damage! Can you guys tell me if there will be structual damage? The reason i am jacking the car up is for service, change oil etc. after this incident, I dropped the car back on ground! scared it would have done more damage! I found that I don't need to jack the car up for me to get to the sump plug, how stupid me! =( Still shaking from that noise, it's like, ****, there goes my car! Amazingly no damage noticed!
  20. man, there weren't be only 2 kangaroos and a wombat from now on! on the putty rd!
  21. ohh, no you didn't do any thing wrong, and you had some great moves! yet... you stood out from all of the others! that's why i mentioned! don't tell me you wont... you had a great time, so did I trying to see your tail lights!
  22. Silver R33 was GTR-number number S to my memory, but I am not sure if it was him that radioed. cause it could be the one infront of him which was another R33, marroon colour. Any how, I was just here to say I was trying to calm the person down on the radio. And tried to have the day as pleasant as possible. And point out that we were there to make friends, not pick a fight. Also the s14 did aplogise, and admitted that he's a P plater... LOL and will be more careful next time! Duncan : you were right, the pace was a bit extreme if this was classified a "cruise".
  23. You calling me dumb is it? On the radio, WHICH YOU DID NOT HEAR! the person did specifically asked if he was a member or not with a voice that already said this "farken silvia" is an outsider and is not welcome here. I DID NOT REFER TO ALL MEMBERS. And I DID thank SAU for such a great day! one particular member did take it out on a non-member. What's wrong with me posting here about the day? After all it is relevant. But calling people dumb is not.
  24. ok, my bad! mine are stuffed =)
  25. nah man, we thought he was gonna like hit us or something cause he was so hotted up during the radio talk. so we did not approach him... as I have said, we had a great time with every one! it was a very very sucessful day! Thanks to SAU. but I didn't know members do not like non-members.
