  1. hahahah, i so know the feeling, ive got a 25t and am still wondering what the limits are with these cars before traction becomes an issue lol, im at around 180rwkw with basic mods and it seems to hold my 265 rubber atm. Umm, how much torque do you guys produce at around 250-300rwkw?
  2. Hey guys, for all the power hungry ppl out there, i was wondering how it feels to have skylines that pull above the 700-800nm torque range???, after all it is seat of pants that is the human torqueometer isnt it lol!!!Ive only midly modded my 25t and i still feel the need for more power, but does it ever get unnerving when you get to such high power outputs???, or is it always the same........still feel the need for more hahah just a general chat question lol bored!
  3. hey im real interested in the 2835 and was wondering how much power you can push out of them, im thinking of the nengun kit delivered to door, as im aiming for 250-300 rwkw, guys who have this amount of power, how do you put it to the ground hehehe, or dont you! Im hoping for a turbo upgrade with response close to stock as i would like to use my 25t as a track car and daily driving street thanks
  4. hey guys.......how much torque to these rb25's have with around 280-300rwkw??
  5. how about the gt3037/3040 turbos? how much power are they good for, and do they respond as well as these turbs mentioned or is there alot of lag to go with them???, im too looking to go down this track this year some time, but im looking for more streetable car then a top end lag beast.....
  6. hehehe, i too hate "mechanics" speaking their garbage w/o actually having tested it out before in the real worl!!!, thanks again guys, i too have had no problems whatsoever, should i keep looking at the stock water temp gauge to make sure all is running fine?
  7. Hey guys, just trimmed down my fan blades to clear my fmic i/c piping, i hear no end of ppl telling me they will run out of its efficiency as they are not all perfect, and one even said the water pump will die and that it wnt last any longer than 2 months!!! What are your thoughts on all of this?, it was part of the HYBRID instructions so i couldnt see it being that big of an issue?, maybe an electric/thermo fan could help?
  8. Hey guys, i just bought a mint 25t box, and need a few bits, wondering if you could help me out........looking at around 250-300rwkw in the long run I need a new flywheel and clutch, options and price would help thanks, i hope to do it all right the 1st time around lol thanks guys
  9. great info, how much are one of his clutches, any threads related to his clutches?
  10. thank you very much sydneykid, just what i needed")
  11. Hey guys, just bought myself a 25t box, and now i need to buy some extra bits for the conversion.....a clutch and flywheel, some other stuff but cant remember:) ive already said im aiming for 250-300rwkw, and was wondering if some people could reccomend me some good clutch/flywheel options. would lightened flywheel help, and how about a heavy duty clutch? cheers
  12. thanks, how much power before the stock fuel pump starts to run out of the efficiency range mate?
  13. Hey guys, ive had my r33 gts25t s1 for around 3 years, and im starting to mod it slowly, and i think it's time to upgrade my suspension. I have some king lows on it atm but with stock shocks, and i dnt think theyre working well with each other??? What would be the best way to go about things?, i've budgeted around $1100aud for some better springs and shocks/or coilover packages' How well would Bilsteins with whiteline springs work? it'd be mostly road use, and some track work. Ive also thought about BC Coilovers anyone heard of these??? My car has done 160000kms now, what else could be wearing out now, i dnt knw what to look out for, which is half the problem!, my m8 works at a suspension shop though and could tell me.
  14. bump.....that makes 5....intererst is here, why not someone make a poll or new topic>???
  15. exhaust is 3" CATBACK (down pipe on the way), i understand that 250rwkw is a big no to aim for let aside 300rwkw, but im hoping to do the mods so as they come i wnt run into heaps of hurdles cause of some parts not being up to the job. So for instance, maybe going for a bigger fuel pump then having the car tuned?
  16. Hey guys, ive just got the std basic mods in place now, being a 3" zorst, fmic and pod filter(soon to have a cold air intake), im running close to 9-10psi, and car seems to be running well. I'd like to know whether it'd be better off investing on a fuel pump now before getting it tuned or afc'd? im after reliability at this stage as i cnt afford to have any problems, i mite crank the boost down soon as well. What kind of pump would flow well for my magic 250-300 rwkw goal?as im thinkin its maxing its efficiency right now, how can you tell this anyhow?anything else i should do at this stage to keep it running nicely? thanks!
  17. thanks, that makes things a heap more easy:)
  18. hahaah, im keen on a group buy, but im located in NZ?i need gettin rid of HICAS
  19. hey guys, i didnt have a niple on mine, and the hose thats was previosly connected to the std nipple has now been t'd into the fuel pressure reg hose bottom of manifold.......is that ok, only thing is this way the hose goes across the cover and is long......it seems to read fine though? any thoughts?
  20. one quick question again lol, umm when i have figured out the offsets and wheel sizes of my current car, if i was to get the exact same offset/wheel size and tyre for my new work meisters, will it more a less look the same from the guard etc....or is each wheel slighlty different?
  21. thanks guys, umm like i said ive experienced it many a tme now, and its very UNNERVING, i think ill notice more precise hasndling w/o it hopefully
  22. hahaha, you're with me on that one, id like to believe its HICAS, but i do believe its HICAS as ive never experienced anythign as vicious as this before, and im always driving on the limits when it happens, this aint a good combination for a car that actually handles well before this sudden HIT
  23. umm, at 80+km around a corner, it can ,depending on how you've attempted cornering give you what i belive to be some sort of vicious oversteer, which is very very hard to moneuvre/correct, i havent been able to, but luckily, i never hit anything (bar that one time, which wasnt too bad), it unnerving cause some corners it wont kick in, whereas others HELLO HICAS!!!!!!
  24. Hey guys, has anyone ever experienced HICAS more than 5 times in the span of their car's life? yup thats right, all scared the S*&t outta me too!, i mean why does it do what it does, i sometimes feel that it could be more a driver error, but all the symptoms are there, main two being 1) over 80km and 2) vicious and oncontrollable (so true) Im very greatful ive been lucky these five times whilst on quiet roads (i clawed the side of my car once), but i think ive come to a point where im thinking HICAS has to go?what do you guys think?anyone here experienced HICAS kick in before? I've really only heard bad things about HICAS, and ive only experienced it on the road twice (thankgod), as the rest were trackdays which weren't so bad, but its always on the back of my mind, but the thing is , i do forget about it at times, and worry that one day its gnna give me hell! Does HICAS only work around corners or even sudden movements on the straight?
  25. hahaha that crakcs me up, a frog in a cooler, dont think well come close to that down here in New Zealand!
