  1. Yeah could be a sensor. No warning lights, the car runs great once it gets started. Just rough starting and only when the engine is warm.
  2. I have a 2002 NM35 Stagea which I have used as a daily driver for about 4 years now. The car is great but recently it has been starting sluggishly when warm. When the engine is cold it starts well, first time every time. When the engine is warm is starts sluggishly, usually requires two starts and smells 'rich'. The only thing I can equate it to is that it's like trying to start a car with a flooded carby. My regular mechanic is great but cant seem to fix the issue. Can anyone recommend a mechanic/tune shop in Brisbane that might be able to help out? Not looking for huge performance increases, just to sort out what could be an air/fuel mix issue. Cheers, Daniel
  3. Great. Thanks I'll give him a call.
  4. M35 Aftermarket Stereo - Brisbane Hi, So my stereo has been dropping in and out for the last 6 months or so. Started with the NAV screen deciding it didn't want to work (which took out my parking cameras), then the stereo refused to operate when on accessory power (with engine off) and dropping out intermittently while driving. Today is finally gave up completely and has died. Unfortunately it has taken the air-con controls with it and so the air-con is stuck on very cold and high fan speed. Rather than get it fixed, I figured it might be more cost-effective to have an aftermarket stereo put in. Can anyone recommend someone in Brisbane who can supply and fit a stereo into an M35 Series 1 Stagea? I'd prefer to have it done by someone who has actually done it before and won't charge me an import premium. Thanks in advance.
  5. Just checking to see where other Stagea owners in Brisbane get their cars serviced? Not looking for a tuning shop, just somewhere with some experience in doing Stageas. I live (just) North of the river, so anything around the city would be helpful. I picked up my car from Japanese Import Compliance on the Sunshine Coast and Dave there had it running sweet when I got it, however, that location is not really practical from an ongoing perspective. Also I am completely retarded when it comes to doing anything myself, so that option is out. I gave up on that once my cars had EFI. Thanks Daniel
  6. Thanks Scott, The trim itself is in pristine condition, however, it has come away from the door. I tried to poke it back in with limited success. I'll have a look at some rubber cement as datmoo has suggested. Thanks again.
  7. Picked up my Stagea from the compliance centre a week ago. Very happy with the car, it is awesome. I just noticed that the trim on the rear passenger door has come away slightly. Any recommendations on a good adhesive to stick it back? Apparently 3M Auto Trim Adhesive is the business, however, it doesn't appear to be available in Australia? Photo of the door below. Thanks.

  9. Thanks man! I wasn't aware that a bumper repair was a thing. I'll give one of these guys a call. Cheers.
  10. I've just recently purchased a 2002 S1 M35 Stagea from Japan. It's about to be loaded onto a boat and I've got a whole bunch of photos. I had some pretty specific requirements as it's going to be my daily driver. I managed to land (I think) a fully-specced S1 M35 which is in really good condition with the exception of a small dent in the rear bumper. I was aware of this before I purchased it. It's pretty minor and doesn't actually bother me that much, however, I'm concerned that it may qualify as 'pre-existing damage' from an insurance perspective. Just Car Insurance just rejected covering the car due to pre-existing damage stating that I have to get it fixed before they will insure it. Can anyone provide advice on where I might be able to get this repaired in Brisbane? Alternatively, is it worth speaking to the insurance companies (providing pictures) to try and get insurance with the minor damage as is? I've attached a photo of the bumper. Thanks.
  11. $28,000 Redbook says it's worth this at 60,000+ kms.
  12. Any interest at all? I'm happy to come down on the price, but I'd like some idea of what I might be able to get for it.
  13. 5-Speed Auto 2-Door Coupe, Silver with Grey interior. Registered until Nov 2009. 45,000 kms Stock car, lowered slightly. Has been in Australia 10 months or so. It's advertised for $32,000 but I'm willing to move on price. Need something with 4 doors. Car is located in Burswood. Daniel 0421 109 432
