Hmmm don't remember taking any other hoses off but may have accidently dislodged one somehow. It is a HKS fuel rail with a Sard FPR. Maybe the pressure is out now? Low? Might be worth a check i think. Thanks for the idea. Anyone think of anything else? I really hope this is something simple

Any advice will be much appreciated........... Here's the problem: - noticed fuel leaking from hose connecting fuel filter to fuel rail (was old and split) - replaced it - car starts but now idles very rough and feels like it is running a cylinder or so down - cannot even drive up the street i.e. zero power and big engine vibrations Note: Car was running perfectly fine before I noticed/fixed the fuel line Was the fuel line fix and problem a coincidence (surely not)? Do I need to do something else in order to get the fuel flowing prperly again (clutching at straws here)? Sounds and feels bad but I am really hoping it is something simple. This car is hardly driven and has been bullet proof otherwise. Please help!

Mate, I think we all agree that the job is sh!tty and yes I would definate complain also. But given that 4 weeks (?) or so has passed you cannot expect the guys at the shop to drop everything and attend to your problems. Bring them in with the receipt point out the problems - try to remain calm and rational and I'm sure they will help you out. The outside section near the centre is clearly bad workmanship. As for the inside, if you are not happy with the inside of the rim not painted, then specify you WANT these bits done also. If you want things done on the cheap ($200 is on the cheap side), then it's perfectly legit to not spray these bits as no one will see it anyway and it has no impact on the durability of the outside. just my 2c worth

Tein Coilovers Are Too Hard For Daily Driving...
taynewguy replied to gtrzilla's topic in Suspension, braking and tyres
What type of teins are we talking about here? Assuming they are not super streets as they are relatively soft as far as coilovers go. Depending on what they are you could modify your existing set-up. Could end up costing $$$ though. Or you could buy my super streets (see for sale section) and make your money back by selling your existing ones off to someone who wants to do circuit work. Going back to stock seems a bit backwards to me. -

I've gotta be fair to Nengun after having a whinge........I bit the bullet and went through them again. Ordered some Tein monoflex coilovers and they have been shipped today - 11 days after payment. Cannot complain about that.

Mate I'm running a Blitz nur specR cat back, 3"cat, blitz front pipe and tomei bellmouth dumps. Sounds like an absolute animal, especially after i fitted tomei poncams. But steer clear of this if you are after somethig quiet! Although from just catback it should be fairly sedate. Still on the loud side compared to say Trust PEII or HKS Silent High Power. Stay clear of X-force I reckon, cheap, but doesn't fit up too well and sounds a bit on the homo side. Just my opinion.
