i had a similar noise. i could only hear it at low speeds next to a wall. i jacked the car up and spun the wheels around by hand one by one to find which wheel it was.. was passanger front.. it ended up being the brake backing plate ever so slightly touching the rotor. pulled it back a touch and was sorted.

awsome. thanks for that. so pads will be the same deal? straight out of the 350z? if my calipers dont have brembo obviously stamped on them its safe to assume its the standard/non brembo/"touring" version?

tried looking on the DBA website but tehy dont list the v35. are teh 350z rear rotors the same? or is there a differnt part number im looking for? does the brembo brake option make a differance to rear rotors? same deal with rear pads, 350z? cheers

if its like most other bonnets, you should be able to adjust the bonnet by loosening the bolts and shifting it around till it sits correctly

looking on ebay and carsales, the v35 sedans seem to be getting cheaper and cheaper ranging anywhere from 12000 up to 22000. pretty much all the cheaper ones are auto, the more pricy ones are 5 speed manuals... is this cos the autos are scaring people off buying due to there issues?? anywho, im trying to see what mine might be worth IF i were to put it up for sale.... iv got a back sedan 350GT, 6sp manual, factory sports suspension with LSD. 80,000km.. im guessing the black and the 6sp would make it a little more rare/desirable also whats with the gt-8's?? my insurance policy says gt-8 and my understanding is that it means the paddle shift auto/tiptronic thing?? and iv tried telling them its a manual and they keep telling me the gt-8 just means its a 4 door? cheers Gene

all of a sudden today the airbag light on the dash cluster started flashing. i tried the ignition on and of 5 times thing. the first time the light just started flashing all random, second time it just went back to flashing... is it safe to drive till i get it in to nissan to be looked at? will all nissan dealers be able to plug in to read the codes? im on the south side (logan) best location to take it??? cheers

im 28, suburb is low risk. the car is locked in a garage. i have another car with with Shannons already also, so they konw all my details and what im doing. one speeding ticket in the past 6-7 years. no claims ever (touch wood).. seems odd

how do people get skylines insured with shannons?? iv called them about 3 times to enquire about my skyline after hearing other people say they are with them and they say they dont do skylines/imports... even there website you can get a quote on skylines.. wtf?

35 and i would have possibly been interested.

does anyone know someone local to brisbane (southside) that can do this?? i dont need any buttons on my key, just something to unlock and start car.
