yesterday we fitted our vr38 engine into the r35 gtr drag car ... we have a 2nd engine being built as we speak . the first engine is a darton dry sleeved std vr38 block which will be grout filled ..and modifed custom alloy std lenght conrods are on there way . custom je pistons , nitto bilett std stroke crankshaft .arp 625 head studs , l19 main studs , acl race series bearings custom bilett dry sump setup . cnc heads with massive kelford cams without the vct .twin cnc bilett plenums with 75mm hypertune throttle bodies . twin 76 or 80mm precision turbos . we have bilett alloy blocks already drawn up for the drag car in a solid version and have a drawing for a street version to run the darton mid sleeves also ..prob for the middle of next year .. this engine will be capable of 2200 to 2400hp on methanol check it out on the godzilla motorsport facebook page . cheers , mark

Massive day at jamboree qualified 3rd with a 6.641 at 209.88 , 1.07 60 ft Other runs we're 6.74 at 206 & 6.78 at 206 mph . Big thanks to aaron & Joel at itp race cars, for building a weapon of a race car , chad , Craig , glen , big matt for crewing yesterday . Ready for Sunday racing !!!!

We are testing this wed at willowbank with the bigger tyres 17 inch wide ..fingers crossed on a 6 sec pass

1300hp at the wheels. Should run 7.4 .. We make 1200 hp all 4 wheels to run 7.6 at 180 plus mph . We ran 8.69 on my drag radials .. Liberty trans .. 9.0 with ppg .. Auto is similar to a clutch less box .. Very easy to drive prob nos of the trans brake also .. If we continued on the drag radials a 7.9 sec pass would be possible but grip level would be questionable !!!!

On Tuesday we ran 200.48 mph at willowbank . First rb engine to run 200.48 Has plenty left in it . Will be testing in about 3 weeks

We ran a 7.2 at 200.4 mph today with two hits at it due to wheel spin..I believe that's the first 200 mph rb engine Then 7.2 at 199.98 same thing wheel spin in 2nd & 3rd gear .. Was a big weekend .very dif on the 10.5 w tyre to get the clutch set Huge thanks to Aaron & Joel from itp race cars in Perth , toddy , Craig & glen for helping ..

this saturday at willowbank raceway the godzilla motorsport r35 gtr is ready to race again in Factory Extreme .. there are 10 factory extreme 6 sec cars entered .. scott porter has fixed the fastest nissan in the world after his crash and will be there maybe with a few surprises .. fingers crossed we can run our first 6 sec pass , still running the 10.5w tyre for now ... also reece will be racing his r32 gtr on friday , sat & sunday in super compact .. weather seems to be clearing and nice cold air should see some fast times .. come out and say hi . cheers, mark

It felt great on 32 psi 9200 rpm gear shifts tune was a little rich still .. Didn't even touch the steering wheel straight down the middle
