  1. I once had a helicoil put in my sump thread but it stuffed up when the bolt was next taken out so the workshop just arranged someone to come out and re-thread it. was only about $150.
  2. I just had some 550cc's fitted by BEL Garage and Ben just adjusted the POWER FC to suit didn't take long at all, still runs perfect and gets 450-500km per tank.

  6. Hi there, that sucks about having problems after just one week. It does sound like your gearbox is some what worn out, have you tried looking around for a second hand box as this would be a lot cheaper than having one rebuilt. What are some details about your car, k's yearmodel etc?
  7. Sounds like a nice car. You should probably ditch the mines computer and have the car retuned in for aus conditions. My car just has exhaust, power fc and boost controller runs 1 bar, it makes 227kw at all 4 wheels so your car should make more at lower boost. If it was retuned it probably would. 160 compression across all cylinders is very healthy but if it was a rebuilt motor in the last couple of years then you would be expecting comp rating around 180. I think mines use a dark blue on their rebuilt engines. I reckon get new ecu and electronic boost controller, have it tuned and that car should be apples.
  8. You sy they you handed the parts and the car to them all together, Here is a tale you can relate to then. About 3 years ago my brother near new WRX was in a workshop in sydney. It already had apexi front mount, apexi turbo, power fc, coilovers the list goes on. He then went and bought a new trust t67 kit, injectors, twin plate clutch, trust intercooler, about another 14k. All this new gear was sitting in the boot, he handed his car to the workshop and surprise surprise it went missing that night. He found out over 36 hours later and not even from the shop it was the police who called him. My brothers insurance checked the premises themselves and paid for the car but not the parts - fair enough. We later found out that the keys to my brothers car were not locked up as the shop could not provide the keys. Cut a long story short it went to court, the shop owner never fronted so they ruled in my brothers favour but no one knows were this guy is so no recourse can be taken. Lesson to learn people - if your doing a buil up only give the shop the parts as required! Hope you have better luck being reimbursed by Pulse performance as they have a duty of care to their client (you) when they accept your vehicle as a job / car to work on. They make their money buy working on cars therefore it is up to them to make sure these cars / parts are safe whilst in their care.
  9. Can you get a nismo air flow meter? The nismo items for gtr's have higher resolution so maybe you can get one for your car.
  10. Nuh never seen one let go, but if the flywheel doesn't leave the bell housing (which appears to be the case with this matter) then how is all this other damage sustained?
  11. From the list of repairs required maybe you should turn your car into a half cut, sorry I know thats a bit harsh but I gotta ask how did you damage the firewall and tear the chasis welds? From what I can gather it doesn't really seem like a highly modded car which could produce the torque to flex the car.
  12. Can your shop arrange to have it fitted? What is involved in fitting to r32 gtr and where would it be located i.e do things have to be moved any part of the car need to be cut etc? How much would you guys charge to fit it? What are the lines made of? Sorry for all the questions!

  17. Aus wheels at leppington builds wheels, I had one of mine rebuilt by him (was 3 piece wheel) , came out great!
  18. $31K 2 years ago, as for the aerial I think only nissan would be your best bet. If they say they can't get them anymore look at the new maxima aerial, it looks like it has a very similar mounting but is a bit shorter.
  19. Yeah usually the aussie ones are in great condition. I have had mine for 2 years, bought it with 108k and now it has 128k on it, its been really good to me all though it needs injectors and wheel bearings now. Its got a full exhaust, (standard turbo dumps), Power fc and I run 1 bar with blits boost controller. It produced 226.6kw at all 4 wheels a couple of months back.
  20. Great car Zardos, I have a black r32 aussie delivered as well. How many k's on it? Is it just me or are they mud flaps on your car? Congrats!
  21. Yeah this is fine, new they are 170 - 180 anything under 140 is a bit iffy.
