  1. Ive had a Greddy oil catch can on for some time now (with stainless scourers in a stocking as filter) and its worked pretty well. When i run higher boost it catches a bit of oil, most being about 10-15ml from some runs at willowbank. On standard boost its totally clean. But i noticed i still get a bit of oil in the intercooler piping, it pools where the rubber joiners are. Photos of my catch can setup are in the gallery, its the typical recirculating setup. Except i know there isnt any oil getting past the catch can because the pipe going in is oil stained, and the pipe going out is completely clean. I recently had a good look at my turbo and it seems to be in great condition, so why am i still getting oil in the intake and intercooler piping? Im using Motul 300v Chrono which is 10w40, and the most boost ive run is 0.9bar
  2. probably Castrol TQ Dexron 3 not THE best, but better than standard and will do the job unless your doing constant track days or something
  3. lol settle down, he was just posting to find out if it was possible to gain any more power, we're always looking for new ways to gain that little bit extra

  6. ahh how unobservant of me :alcoholic yeh 300 would be max safe limit
  7. He asked what the 'MAX RWKW' from a standard internal rb25det is, not whats the safe RWKW limit. 400rwkw, with correct tuning and support systems it wouldnt stuff up the first time it hit boost it can and probably has been done, but as i said before, wouldnt last very long
  8. thats what i used to think, but rb2x engines/gearboxes arent that heavy i did just say the engine itself, not all the other bits around it
  9. engine itself? 160-180kg maybe? ahh u selling engine arent u ?
  10. lots of times vary because the company/publisher etc does their own test and states that time, especially in magazines the factory nissan time is 12.8 obviously testing would have been done over many many 1/4 passes with brand new 32gtr's getting pushed to the limit by test drivers. No one has an even near new stock r32 gtr anymore, and no one will drive it like the test drivers because u care about your car hence no one is getting 12.8 from their standard 32 gtr lots of people argue its upto the driver etc, but when comparing cars, your not comparing drivers
  11. if everything else besides internals is done right probably 400rwkw obviously wouldnt last very long a few people have maintained 300rwkw fairly easily
  12. yeh if your at the point when your bored with it all the time, then its time for a bigger turbo

  20. Change your auto fluid will probably fix it unless there is a problem with the autobox
  21. shouldnt the question be why? why would u want to use stock injectors when u know they are the weakest link and risking lots of money whats $900 for some brand new 700cc nismo's theres no way the stock injectors could sustain that power for very long, its gotta b a matter of time
