  1. Hilarious I agree... but not too helpful lol... anyone??
  2. So im moving to Dubai in about 4 weeks to take up a management role with a super yacht company. Without going into it too much, im going to have to sell my R32 because its too much of a hassle shipping something over from here to there. I have heard cars are pretty cheap and so is fuel over there, which got me thinking, does anyone know if it is possible to import a car directly from japan to dubai, what are the rules and regulations... is there compliance, year cut off etc like here, or is it just open trade... anything, any information you could possibly have would be greatly appreciated, as I dread the thought of stepping out of a 500hp 32 into some camry rental car Cheers, James.
  3. Man if this isnt gone before my car is finished and sold.... mark my words it WILL BE MINE.
  4. I work in Varsity down on Vasity Pde and Admiral Drv, we get at least 5 cars broken into and vandalised every 4 - 6 months. Its generally during school holidays. A lot of the time you will see 15 - 17 year olds skulking around the car park and streets after a Thursday Night out at Robina Town Center, and on weekends drinking and running a muck. I'd definitely keep your car garaged at all times, ive resorted to bringing the fourbie to work, because I just dont wanna take the chance with my line even though our carpark is well lit with security patrols. I'll ask the secca's that come through if they know anything, they are pretty cool guys
  5. Leave the hicas in man, leave it 100% original, just restore it to its original beauty and leave it, and I guarantee you in 20 years time that car will net you a pretty sum man. I know your attention to detail having been to your house and purchased parts from you and following this cars build, not too often do you see someone go to the efforts you have massive props, you know I love your car.
  6. old enough to steal a car old enough to cop a beating in my books
  7. CRD and Kudos are both Trust Agents, depending on where you live hit one of them up they should be able to get a price for you EDIT: they are site sponsors and you can find contact details in there respective sub-forums.
  8. Yes it is its had quite a lot changed on it since purchasing it over a year ago haha, soon as it gets out of the shop and painted ill get some update pics up But yeah to keep on topic I have only had 1 issue with the gearbox which was a selector for 5th and reverse shitting itself which was an easy and cheap fix ($350 from memory) and it gets a frigging beating, tuned for 380kw roughly at the rears.
  9. Something a little like this??? R32 Gtst: Engine: Rb25det conversion The internals are far from stock and top secret, Flowed head/port polish, HKS 275 camshafts, HKS head gasket, Trust Stainless top mount manifold, Trust 50mm waste-gate, Trust front mount intercooler, Trust Oil cooler and relocation filter kit, GReddy Type-R BOV plumbed backed, Nismo 820cc injectors, HKS F-con Pro V.... im sure ive missed a few bits n pieces Suspension And Running Gear: Rebuilt Rb25det gearbox, brand new twin plate OS clutch, Nismo 2way mechanical diff, Tein adjustable coilovers, Tein Adjustable Castor Rods, Tein Tie Rod Ends, 17inch Genuine 3 piece Nismo rims. Pictures from a year ago, its now got a full gtr intake setup including ITB's, 490rwhp @ 1.2bar, we actually dont know what the turbo is, its one of three items, Trust Td06-25g, old school trust td07s or a t67-25g, whatever it is, it does the job Due for a retune in about 3 - 4 months time, its in at the shop atm having engine and box pulled for more work and full paintjob. Ohhh and 11.4 on crappy streets and 10.8 on crappy slicks, also my first time driving a car with some decent power at the drags, im more into drift... so you hit the nail on the head with your proported claims in the previous post imo.
  10. You can buy fibreglass overfenders from Tokage Racing on the Gold Coast that will be 30mm wider for around the $600 mark. http://www.tokage-racingimports.com/contactus.cfm Talk to Gary, tell him James with the white skyline that is in his shop sent ya, he will look after ya
  11. Tokage Racing, Rawlins Street Southport, Speak to Gary and tell him James with the big power 32 sent ya my cars in there at the moment.
  12. I have 6 x R32 Stockers and 2 x Z32 Stockers with about 50 - 70% tread on the Gold Coast.
  13. I could look into it, if i have time today i'm going to go down to the workshop, clean them up a bit and post pictures of them how they sit at the moment.
  14. If he can adjust and continue to perform, ill jump on that bandwagon with you
  15. Set of 4 Nismo LMGT2's - Genuine 3 Piece Need a bit of a tidy up, they are dirty and a bit faded, nothing a good clean and polish wont take care of, they are in excellent condition hardly any nicks or scratches on them. 17x8.5 unsure of the offset, they will fit both gtst and gtr. (Pictured above on my 32) [email protected] 0404 495 745 Looking for $800ono
  16. Whether it was a bi-product of the way his car was designed and setup there is no disputing his style was unorthodox yet effective. I agree the guy is one of the most exciting people to watch in modern motorsport and will undoubtedly be ranked along side the greats by the end of his career. No other driver is as exciting to watch in my opinion, the only other person in motorsport that can put me on the edge of my seat like Alonso is Valentino Rossi when he is backing it in to fast corners in the wet during passing manouvres *drool* but im biased being italian ahahha and prior to that it was Senna. Im sticking with the list posted above, but I know what you're saying.
  17. 100% agree with this, well summed up
  18. I've got one for sale on the Gold Coast in QLD, happy to post if you are interested shoot me off a PM. I agree that does seem strange, ive used one on my car for over a year (490hp @ 1.2bar) with no issues or leak what so ever.
  19. Hehehe sounds like me, just like ripping shit apart to see whats inside for yourself Sometimes I can read something a million times and it still wont stick or make sense til I just bust one open and take a looksie. I did the same thing about a year ago, bought a shitty rb20 turbo with blown seals, got seal kit from nissan for Im pretty sure it was 170 bucks, and put a seal kit through it. Had a look at how everything worked on the inside. Was really good, I knew how they worked prior and understood the theory but nothin like gettin your hands dirty n rippin stuff apart to really get a good grasp of how everything is put together
  20. Who said anything about the greddy plenum being useless above 300rwkw, I can only assume you were speaking with reference to my comment where I said the stock one should hold til around then. Im currently using a Greddy plenum it shaved 4feet of piping off my setup and im pushing 380rwkw on 1.2bar on a series1 RB25 using an ITB setup with a custom adaptor plate. Still to be tuned for higher, and its running rich as a mofo. Soon as its painted its off to sydney to have the fcon tuned and ill get back to you on how much of a difference it makes. I totally agree with your comments above so sorry if I wasnt clear in my first post, just tried to sum it up real quick for him before the usual "USE THE SEARCH BUTTON" nazi's jumped in
  21. Yakuza plate.... sounds like he is a gangster too.
  22. Andy rides low for the same reason I ride low, coz he is a f**king gangster, end of story. <3 your car mang, gonna be 2 insanely low 32's sporting 25's on the street very soon
  23. Warhammer Online is going to kill WoW anyway man Realm Vs Realm Battles.
  24. Why does everyone always think about power mods? You can get just about ANY suspension component (within reason) for around the $200 mark. Tie Rods, Rack Ends, Caster Arms, Camber Arms, Hicas Lock Bar etc. Someone mentioned tyres, thats also not a bad option... for $200 your pretty limited, id be looking at something for your suspension. Grab them for your bday, set them aside, accumulate a few more parts, throw it all in one weekend and get yourself a wheel alignment. EDIT: Add some nice brake pads or a service to that list as other options also.
  25. Been covered a trillion times before, better up top, minimal actual kw gains, just the power delivery is affected. Stock manifold is good for 300kw+ so unless you've got a big snail hanging off the side of your engine, your money is probably better spent elsewhere
