  1. I took it to the mechanic just last week, and got the same advise as what iamhe77 said to get it serviced. Flush out the engine oil and observe for a couple of weeks. They said if that's the problem it shouldn't go away right after the service has done, it might stay for a bit longer. But if it's getting worst after a month I'll bring it back to them and they might check the the "variable cam angle" like what deep dish v35 is saying. I don't know those things but it sounds expensive. I hope it gets well. I'll keep y'all posted on what's going on. Thanks.
  2. Hi guys, I think I'm having problem with my engine. Whenever I step on the accelerator I can hear some clicking sound from the engine. Its like something is being hit inside whenever I step on it even if its in neutral. Before it wasn't really that loud, but now I think its getting worst. Anyone had the same experience before? Just wanna know first what could be the problem before I bring it to the shop. Also, if anyone can point me to the right direction where to take it somewhere western melbourne. I've done some research about TCU codes and I got this link - http://www.plymouthlaser.com/tcucodes.htm I'll try and follow the steps, though I really have no idea yet on how to do it, hopefully it would work out for me. But if in case not, does anyone know where I can take it to get it fixed? Maybe somewhere near westside Melbourne??
  4. Hi guys, I have a V35 2004 sedan 250gt, and I just noticed that whenever I use manual for shifting gears it always starts at 3rd gear. Even coming from full stop if I shift it to manual it always starts at 3rd. Is this normal? If not, is this a big thing that I should be concerned about? Does it need a major repair? I also noticed when in "D" (drive) gear, sometimes it doesn't have the power that you expect from first gear launch, but if I step on the accelerator a bit more it seems like it's down shifting and that's when I get the speed that I'm supposed to have from launch. Can anyone help me please? Any suggestions and advise would be really helpful. Thanks guys! Cheers, Rey

  6. Sorry about that. Just checked the rims earlier and I'm not really sure about the offset. Its got "RK-F18 OFFSET", engraved at the back of the rim. But I also saw a 40 engraved as well, doesn't say offset though. I'm not good at this, sorry.. Diameter: 18" Width: 9.5 fronts, 10.5 rear Pcd: 110 Offset: RK-F18 or 40
  7. Hi guys, I'm selling a set of rims with 75-80% tyres on it. It's got gutter rash on all four of them. It came off from my supra before, but now it's just sitting in the garage for couple of months now and I have no plans on using them again. Selling it for $500neg. Pickup only, melbourne location.

  10. I think it does come with a warranty. Well, it should be.. It doesn't get any worse after those few seconds. It's hardly noticeable tho. But I better get it fixed before it cause me bigger problems in the future.. I'll ring up the car yard tomorrow. Thanks guys for the help. cheers.
  11. Not really, it only vibrates for 1 to 2 seconds if I slightly step on the break pedal and only if I'm driving a bit fast. I'm thinking if this is a serious problem, I might bring it back to the car yard I bought it from and get it fixed.. Can I still hold them responsible for any problems with the car? Since it's only been with me for a week now and because they told me that it's been complianced so I don't have to worry about anything. Is that possible?
  12. Hi to all, Finally, just got my v35 250gt last thursday. I've been observing it for a week now, so far it's all good. There's just this one thing bothers me about my breaks. The car vibrates a little bit whenever I slightly step on the break pedal to slow down coming off from 80-100 kph. Is this normal? Anyone had the same experience before? Am I just making a big deal out of it? Coz the car drives awesome and the breaks are working really well, except only for that little vibrate thing that I'm worried about. Any suggestions and recommendations of what to do would be big help for me. Thanks!

  14. Hi to all, new guy in the forum.. sorry to start a new thread. I know most of my questions are pretty common but just got to get some more specifics about 250GTs. I've done my search in the forum and it's very helpful, but most of the infos I got are for v35 coupes. I'm about to have a 2004 V35 250GTM (no idea what's the difference bet 250GT and 250GTM) two weeks from now. The dealer got it for me from the auction in japan. I've attached some pix of it but only coming from the screen of the dealer's PC. Sorry for the bad quality. Just wanna find out about these things: * is it a series 1 or 2? * 250GT and 250GTM difference? * how's the maintenance for 250GTs? * what specific oil should I use for the CVT service and how much? * it has done 38k's, how will I find out if it's genuine or not? * what other things should I be aware of before paying the balance? Thanks a lot guys in advance. Any other information about 250GTs you wanna add up aside from my questions would be great.. Cheers!
  15. Hi there. I'm just new in the forum and soon to be a 2004 V35 250gtm owner. I got it at the auction from japan. I'm about to get the car 2 weeks from now.. Just have a few questions about this special oil thing for the CVT: *does 250gt and 350gt-8 share the same exact tranny oil (KLE51-00004)? *if not, what specific description of oil should I get for the 250gt and is it as expensive as the oil used for 350gt-8? *and also the car is sittin' around 38k's now, when should I get the transmission serviced? Any information regarding service and maintenance of the 250gt would be really helpful. Thanks!
