  1. Good to see you out there enjoying the cars mate, hope all is well outside cars too. Keen to see what time you do at SMSP.
  2. Sorry, disregarding the latest post...... just the concept behind all of this is awesome ^_^
  3. S3 with a tune will still be mint ;) ....what year you looking at? Never thought I'd spend RS3 money on a car this early in my life but had to justify selling the 34 some how ? Not wrong......plus euro parts tax is worse than GTR tax lol...... I'll be doing an engine and gearbox tune eventually but admittedly not in a huge rush.
  4. Completely understand. I wouldn't buy a euro for a race car yet, but as a daily....ooph my RS3 has converted me lol. I understand the extra $$ in the price tag now, on a different level.
  5. Looking good mate! Tidy and quick! Brakes are going to feel so good lol
  6. I noticed more of a difference to steering adding wide r comps than I did removing the hicas computer which was at least 3 years ago. I obviously wouldn't be concerned personally lol ?
  7. Well that was unexpectedly quick, but I guess this chapter of my life has finally come to an end. Car is sold (getting picked up this week). Big thanks to everyone on this forum that helped out in one way or another, or just talked banter. See you all around once I figure out what's next ?
  8. Well guys, the time has unfortunately come. I guess I'm turning in to an old fart as my baby for the last (almost) 7 years is up for sale. If you know anyone that is keen, link below with as much info as I could remember.
  9. Gave the old girl a good wash this week and discovered that the passenger power window isn't working. I tested the switch and there is power coming in/out. No blown fuses. Suspect the window reg may have died, will take this in to consideration with any negotiations with potential buyers and can assist buyer in sourcing replacement (if I haven't sourced one before it sells). Driver power window is still working fine.
  10. Looks like the time has come for me to sell this gallant steed after owning it for near 7 years. I'm not in a rush to sell but also have no real need to keep it. Time to move on to something new. Please note, this car will be sold as a 'track car with rego', the new owner can choose which path they wish to take. I purchased this car back in August 2012 with 152,000kms at which time it had minor mods running just over 200rwkw and completely stock body, suspension, etc. It was a daily for the original owner who did a lot of highway driving. Originally it was used as a weekend car which progressed in to the occasional event and then to full time 'track car'. It has however retained full rego but it is honestly only driven on the street to get to local events. It has always been well maintained with fluids being changed reguarly. Have had many good results with the car over the years, particularly at Mount Panorama events with multiple 1st in class and the odd top 3 outright. Car has been built up to suit WTAC clubsprint rules, only thing you need to change to compete in clubsprint right now is the tyres. Alternatively, most parts can be included to return this back to a street car with some impressive power. It's possible I will miss something below so if so feel free to shoot through any questions. Test drives will be allowed only after a deposit is made. 12. Thanks mate. Sorry the delayed response, don't really frequent on here anymore. Have found the turbo to be great for what it is. I'm running the bush bearing version. Was previously running the .86 twin scroll rear housing which made 420rwkw on ~26-28psi. Response was great. We've recently changed the setup to a 1.01 rear housing to help with getting more heat out as I kept melting the diaphragms in the gates. As a result I'm currently making 370rwkw on 22-23psi (need a new boost controller) and I'd say a few hundred rpm laggier, but much nicer curve coming on. Will put together a big update post eventually, but feel free to pm me if still looking for info.
