  1. Thanks, will try it. For the comparison ... am pressed for time, literally just rolled the car out of the garage to refit the original bonnet. Car hasn't been washed yet so you can see this is as dirty as it gets with bonnet out of storage. TopSecret bonnet goes with the sale. Will post some updated picks with original bonnet next week after a clean up. Has QLD roadworthy certificate - car is ready to drive away for lucky new owner.
  2. Pm's and emails answered. Not interested in separating anything. Ventilation benefits gained from top secret bonnet, plus excellent styling.
  3. re: front seats ..... original front seats were not kept. But it is possible to source some online if desired. The Bride Japan carbon seats are lighter and suit large 6 foot/100kg frame or smaller. I am 6 foot 100kgs and they fit me like a glove - they are very secure and comfortable seats. Both front seats are matching and are same make, model and size. For those asking - seats and all other parts will not be separated as the sale includes all parts/spares that I have kept as noted that were removed for new owner to retrofit if desired. Original factory matching white painted carbon VSpec2 vented bonnet has been kept and can be easily refitted prior to sale. Top Secret vented bonnet is carbon was purchased second hand (locally, AUS) and cleaned back with a fresh clear finish and refitted with fresh grills. Both bonnets go with the car.
  4. Added more photos of engine bay and interior. Qld road worthy certificate and recent presale service report is available to the buyer. {edit .. ok try this then I guess ....}
  5. Price: $70,000 ODO: 55,600kms Ext: White Int: Black located in Qld 2002 N1 Nur GTR with sensible upgrades and modifications; plates sold separately; regretable sale 2002 N1 Nur engine; white TE37 18x9.5 rims; matching adjustable carbon front bucket seats x2; full ProjectMu brake upgrade to SCRPRo incl calipers; Billstein adjustable coilovers x4; shown with TopSecret carbon bonnet; kept original white bonnet with induction box for retrofit; Autronic ECU fitted tuned with sensible boost; Nismo fuel pump; larger dual feed fuel rail with Bosch injectors; kept original Nismo ECU with fuel rail/injectors for retrofit; Nismo body kit; full front/rear undertrays; oil cooler; strut bar; suspension arms, lockout bar, after market clutch, Toyo R888 tyres fitted after purchase still with 75% tread. Original Nur 10Krpm/300kph odometer. "R34NUR" Qld private plates are not included; sold separately $5,000 not negotiable. Many extras - full parts specification sheet provided on inspection. Some original parts have been kept for retrofit as noted. Current owner with family is not a boy racer. Car driven sensibly and routinely serviced every 5,000kms. Car was purchased with intention to do a ZTune replica build but circumstances have changed. Regrettable sale. Genuine enquiries only. Peter 0430 Eight Six Two 747

  9. While genuine R34 is the smaller unit - I've opted for the R33/32 larger oil filter unit. I figure bigger surface area for better performance outweighs the headf**k of changing it. I change mine every 5,000kms using Kendall GT oil. Cars are to be driven ....
  10. Picked up some paint flake from the wiper blades this morning, and discovered they are different base metals. Has anyone noticed the bimetallic corrosion from the wiper blasde assemblies? Stripping them down is easy enough, but noticed the base connector is aluminium, and the wiper arm is steel. Add water, and you get bimetallic corrsion of the aluminium, which is why the paint was starting to flake. Wandering is anyone has a magic cure, aside from stripping back and painting the parts. Was simple enough to do, but it will happen again me thinks because of the different metals.
  11. Here's the new home ..... after the first coat of 2 pack, will sand this back when hardened for a final clear coat. Some chips and holes filled in, the 2 pack has now shrunk into them (finished 2 days ago). Bonnet should come up nicer than this when finished. Original gel-coat was sanded back with 1200 grit, then finished with 1500 grit after all the stickers were removed. PPG 2 pack, first coat tinted with 5% black. Photos taken with the phone ...
  12. Car has a new look, carbon topsecret bonnet. Is smick as at 09Dec2010.

  13. Howdy hohoho folks, long time no see! I'm going for a drive tonight - so will start at BR if anyone turns up - you can show me why you got banned???? WTF? I'll be there around 7:30pm unless otherwise cancelled. Will have to do a drive by first by the sounds of it. Have freshened the car up a bit with a topsecret bonnet, new brakes and new tyres. Have just put it back on the road so it's almost tidy. Going for a drive tonight as the weather looks like it;s holding up for a change. Text on Zero 430 Eight 62 747 if you're going anywhere else. Regards, Peter P.S. New look interior to the forum, might take a bit of getting used to ....
  14. SOLD Pending payment and freight ... overseas buyer. Tasmania I think.
  15. Photos of one front and rear brake/rotor, have wiped down the outside face only. Brake dusk covers the rest. No leaks in seals/hoses/fixtures. PM's sent.
