FS Sydney, BMW Style 66 rims with new semi slick hankook z221 Hi all, I have my semi slick tyres and rims for sale, they are off a BMW, but who knows, maybe they are of some use to some of you. They are a style 66 BMW rim, the M sport ones in the following sizes: 17x9 et 26 17x8 et 20 Front tyres are 225 45 17 Rear tyres are 255 40 17 They were on my track car ONLY for rolling it in and out of the garage, 1 photo shoot out the front of my house, 1 push on trailer with a dyno run. They have never been used on the road. Only reason I am selling because I have sold my car and I have moved to Japan, so I have no use for them in any way, and my parents arent happy with the storage space they are taking up. They are a set, I dont want to strip tyres from wheels as thats a hassle for my parents to do. So they are up for grabs $1200. For people who know what hankook rs-3s are, this is a good price for virtually 4 brand new tyres which include rims. Rrp for these things is $300+ each

tune on e85 then, but what exactly do they test for in the Im240 test?

wow, sounds like a lot of hassle just to get up and running, I am keen on seeing where this goes. I wired a haltech sprint 500 into my BMW and kept all the factory outputs on the dashboard. Everything works like it would from stock, speedo, warning lights, revs etc etc. Only thing that does not work is the ecu controlled OBD1 consult port. Now this is a totally basic ecu on a much different car, but is the M35 really that electronically controlled?? Besides valve control, drive by wire and auto box? Does the dashboard get controlled by the ecu? A majority of cars that I have wired and worked on the dash runs directly off the various sensors in the car, only some things run via ecu like fuel consumption and some check lights. Im keen to see how this goes

since when does the ecu power the transmission???? the transmission ecu is separate, not ECU controlled last time I checked

on nissan stageas the gtt wheels and gtr wheels both fit, so I am assuming that the exact same thing will go for GTR and GTT, I mean there is no reason to engineer and produce a different steering column for a nearly identical chassis. they didnt even change steering setup on the stagea compared to the skyline.

nope, unfortunately it will not sorry also since it is back up here, someone can take exhaust and coilovers for 1k

go with ABS unless you are confident in your stopping ability. even for race track abs is good. only bad thing abs has, is that it cant stop on ice, which unfortunately we dont have in this country. last thing you want is accident due to wheel lock in rain or on track.....

hows that valve piston clearance looking?

c34 stageas are terrible tow cars, i had to tow a r34 behind me at one stage without a trailer and it was the most difficult thing to get up minor slopes with unless you were on boost, and 2600rpm is not very early on boost.... (rs4s stagea) best bet buy a m35 with the 3,5l engines, its auto and has larger displacement, plus heaps of goodies if you can find one with the right options. M35 Axis being the premium model

i know the r33 pistons with neo head is a no go, but the r34 pistons with r33 head i havent tried that. most possibly raise the compression a bit, also not sure how much they will poke over the block at TDC....

r34 pistons wont fit as they have a different combustion chamber to the r33 heads, so in theory you can fit all of the above, however you need a NEO head if using NEO pistons, or r33gtt/gtr pistons to use the r33 head
