  1. Headlights sold. Steering wheel still available. Also discovered that I have some factory 440cc GTR injectors and a factory 180km/h GTR instrument cluster available. I'll put up pictures and list a price if anyone is interested.
  2. And here I was thinking it was one of a kind! Should I lower the price because it's not as unique?
  3. Still for sale. I will miss it, but it's better for someone to enjoy it than it be parked in a shed for the next 3 years.
  4. My bad. I forgot to add that engine pic! Engine finished with red crackle paint, and polished "twin turbo" pipe, which has also had a baffle welded into it to reduce turbo shuffle and increase response (read gtr.co.uk for more details)
  5. As the title says, I have for sale: Pair of headlights off series 1 R33 GT-R. Good condition, no clouding, include spacers. Removed due to upgrading to xenons. $100 Series 1 R33 GT-R airbag wheel. Airbag included, SRS computer not included. Selling due to upgrade to later series model. $100
  6. I'm putting up my 1995 R33 GT-R (non Vspec) for sale due to an impending move overseas for 2-3 years. I've only recently rebuilt the engine and had it tuned. Last time I relocated OS I stored the car for 3 years, and I'm not that keen to do it again hence putting it up for sale, but if nobody is interested then it just goes back into the shed to gather some more dust. Some more details: Black, built 1995, imported into Aus in 2000 (I'm the 2nd owner here) Purchased by me, essentially stock in 2003 Mods since then: Forged engine rebuild, over $40k spent, including CP pistons, Eagle rods, custom CR 9.0:1, head machined, port matched and oil control mods done including new oil drain, tomei restrictor and mines-type baffles, Hi-octane baffled sump and catch can/washer bottle combo. Nitto oil pump, Tomei 260/9.15 cams and gears. Garrett 2860R-9 turbos, with factory exhaust manifolds port-matched and then manifolds, turbine housings, HKS dump pipes and front pipes (ie all exhaust from block to cat) HPC coated. SARD 700cc injectors and in-tank pump, Splitfire coils, HKS Twinpower ignition amp, upgraded earth wiring. New oil cooler with remote filter, upgraded radiator (both PWR), plasmaman intercooler. Exedy twin plate clutch Custom hi-flow exhaust 3.5in diameter includes metal low-density cat, varex rear muffler (quiet for daily use, nice sound and good flow when you want it) Buddy club racing spec coilovers, Whiteline handling kit bushes, camber adjusters and swaybars front and rear Stoptech front rotors, ferodo pads, ADR approved braided lines, master cylinder brace Gram lights 57pro wheels and Federal tyres, hardly used Nismo 320km/h dash, 128000kmm (I don't know how genuine this is, sorry, but it's a Jap import!!) Variable attessa controller Flocked dash (same finish as rally cars, I did this to lift the interior ambience a bit and cut down on glare when driving in sunny conditions, but can also supply a dash with original finish) Cosmetic features upgraded to 1998 series 3 with new factory lip ($1250 new from Just Jap), factory xenon lights ($2500), bumper vents, later type steering wheel, clear front and side indicators Multipoint alarm and self-monitored tracking system installed Car tuned by Jim at Croydon in April 2009, running 340AWKW. Apparently it made up to 360AWKW on pump fuel but the 340 was "safer" I have receipts for pretty much everything done to it. The car is always garaged, has had 2 oil changes with Motul 300V chrono ($200per oil change!) in the 7000km since the engine rebuild, along with Motul RBF600 brake fluid changed recently. I'm sure there are plenty of things I'm forgetting, so if there's a detail you're interested in, just ask. I'm asking $30000 for the car. I know you can find plenty of R33 GT-R's cheaper than this, but I know first hand what it costs to build one properly, and therefore what they're worth. Everyone who has worked on this car, including Croydons and Heasman's suspension have said that it's in great condition, and they would know better than me. I'd consider reasonable offers close to the asking price, but there's no need to offer me the 20000 that you can buy some other GT-R for, because I would prefer to mothball the car or ship it to England to use myself rather than give it away. However, if someone is really after a car that I have tried to build properly, get in touch via PM or phone 0419 448 212 (car is in Sydney)
  7. If what you're asking is "can I fit a later series wheel to an S1 R33 GT-R?" then the answer is yes. The S1 wheel (single airbag model) has the airbag computer behind the airbag, in the steering wheel. This computer needs to be removed from the S1 wheel and attached to the S2/S3 wheel, after which the wheel will go on the car and the airbag will plug in. The airbag light will not be on, which seems to indicate that the system is working OK, but the only way to know for sure is to crash the car or trigger the sensor. I'm not ready to do this yet, so I can't guarantee you that the airbag "works". You will also need to fiddle with the horn wires a little, but it's a piece of cake. The dash clusters (with the dials in them) are the same between models, no reason to change. If you want to fit a twin-airbag dash to a single-airbag car, it can be done, but there is a LOT of work involved. Some guy in Germany did it and wrote it up on GTROC.co.uk, but it's quite involved - you need to buy a new computer, the airbags, dash, under-dash bracing, etc etc the list goes on.
  8. I have a set of R33 GTR headlights just sitting in the garage that I would sell if you wanted them. PM me if interested. Only taken off because I replaced them with S3 Xenons (ie good condition for age).
  9. Thanks. Stock auto apart from Remus exhaust (sounds tough) and upgraded audio. It is the daily, after all, and the missus drives it more than I do.
  10. This is my daily, much nicer to drive around town than the GT-R
  11. Make: Nissan Model: 1995 R33 GT-R Milage: ~150000 (jap import obviously, and speedo replaced, so anybody's guess really) Transmission: Stock 5sp Colour: Factory Black Location: Wagga Wagga Complied? Yes RWC supplied? No Currently registered? No Price: $21000ono Contact: PM, 0419 448 212, or [email protected] Comments / Modifications: Regretful sale of beloved car. I bought this car in 2002, and am the second Australian owner. Previous owner also has been on this board. For the last 2 years I have been living overseas, and will be for one more year. Car has been in storage for this time, gradually accumulating dust, and parts. Due to the km, it is likely that the car needs an engine rebuild in the near future, and this is reflected in the fact that it burns a lot of oil, and occasionally makes knocking noises. Ie, I am basically selling it as if the engine is dead, and this is reflected in the price. For the same reasons, the car is currently unregistered. As I am overseas, and at the moment on a limited income, it is not worth my while to go through the hassle of registering the car. The car is registerable, and I am happy to do this for anyone who purchases the car but the cost will be born by the purchaser. Everything else about the car is in good condition, however. In terms of mods, the list that I can think of follows: Power FC incl boost control and HC Blitz SUS stainless pods, factory intake also included HKS turbo actuators, but factory turbos HKS elbows HKS front pipes 3.5in cat back exhaust with twin cannons Full whiteline handling kit (castor and camber adjustment bushes, front and rear, adjustable swaybars front and rear)) Whiteline subframe alignment bushes (pineapples) New Buddy Club coilovers, have only been on the car while I have been away, so barely any km travelled at all DBA 4000 series slotted rotors front and rear, with DS2500 pads in factory calipers. Motul RBF600 brake fluid Genuine series 3 xenon headlights retrofitted Stock interior including factory airbag. Nismo 320kph cluster fitted, factory cluster also included Panasonic Head unit, front pioneer splits, rear deck pioneer 6.5in coaxials, Clarion amp and Boston 10in sub in boot Torque split controller Will add others as I think of them. Images: Not interested in any swaps, nor any low-ball offers. If it doesn't sell buy the time I come back, I'll just rebuild it and use it myself.
  12. There is another way to do this, which may prove better for those with HID lights and don't want them to turn off. It involves a simple modification to the light switch. I don't know if this works on R32s, as I have an R33. Before mod: Low beam Hi beam Remove your lights/indicator stalk from the column, and looking at the back, you should see something like this: There are two copper tracks that you need to bridge with solder - they are marked with red circles on the following images: Once done, it will look something like this (excuse my poor soldering technique) Then reinstall into the car. You should now have dual-headlight hi-beam goodness.
