  1. Hi fellow members, I am selling my car due to an upgrade. It is a 2006 350GT sillver coupe, automatic 61k on odometer Asking 23,500 The car has no problems, just want to sell it fast! http://www.carsales.com.au/private/details/nissan-skyline-2006-11823555?base=1216&vertical=Car&Range=Price:Min,Max~0.5&eapi=2&sort=default&cr=2&__N=1246%201247%201252%201282%204294963846%204294963593%20898%201216&silo=Stock&find=350GT|CarAll
  2. I used to be with AI insurance and I could choose any repairer. Their price was good, but NRMA offered better price The only issue I had with AI was the time it took them to process a dispute that I had with a repairer. The repairer did a poor job with clear coat and it took AI about 4-5 months to follow it up... Very frustrating. But when the initial accident occurred they were fast Hope it helps!
  3. Nvm found out how to search on my iPhone lol
  4. Thanks night crawler! I dunno how to use the search function on my iPhone, but in the future I will search it up using a pc first.
  5. Hi everyone !! Has anyone installed a carbon fiber rear diffuser on their V35 coupe? They sell the item on eBay. http://www.ebay.com/itm/INFINITI-G35-COUPE-REAL-CARBON-REAR-BUMPER-DIFFUSER-2DR-/190617187069?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&vxp=mtr&hash=item2c61ab72fd here is an example. I would like to know whether it is easy to have it installed. Can any panel beater install this item without too much trouble or do I have to look for someone specific? Cheers
  6. Wow that is very cheap!! Where did u get that price and what size?
  7. I normally used castrol edge 10w-40 but 5w-30 is the recommended engine oil grade on 350z manual, so I thought I'd give it ago. Plus on Mobil and castrolegde website the recommended oil for VQ35DE is 5w-30 I'm not an engine oil expert so I just followed the guide lines online as well as the 350z manual. What are u using At the moment?
  8. I just changed my insurer to NRMA 23 now well in Jan. 1 at fault accident 2 years ago. 2006 coupe $1740 with 1000 basic excess. Mum is second driver - no accident history. Before I put mums name they quoted $3100 -_- I guess they believe if we share the car, there's less risk of an accident because mum has better driving history and less time for me behind the wheel lol
  9. Hi guys I bought some Mobil 1 engine oil yesterday for $70 5.5L approx. Mobil 1 EP 5w-30. His name is nick. If you live in Sydney you can pick it up otherwise he can ship them out to you. I was pretty happy with the price do I thought I'd share it. He has some racing engine oils too, they are more expensive though. He stocks other brands as well like royal purple. You can search Mobil 1 on eBay.com.au or call him on 0405 509 621 Mobil 1 0w-40 is $100 here is Sydney for 5L but he sells 6 quarts I think 5.5L?? Approx for $65
  10. I have Bridgestone Potenza RE50A on all four wheels. They came with the car when I imported it. The car had 14xxxkm on it and now 57000km (almost), so 43000kms I've driven. The rear's have about 10% left, and the front tyres have about 50-60% left, I didn't like the wet grip on the bridgestone RE50A, the rear loses slight traction if I hit a lane marker (or a similar small bump) above 80km/h, and slightly scary at acceleration going up hill, if pushed above 4800rpm in 2nd gear the rear loses traction in the wet but I guess that is natural... This happened before I installed plenum spacer + z-tube But dry traction is SUPERB ! Braking in the wet is also very good I think I will try Kumho KU31 for my rears. I want to sell my car so I don't want to spend too much, but I still want decent tyres for safety reasons.
  11. Hi guys, Some of you may know from my previous post that I am selling my car. Well I had an enquiry sent to my phone yesterday from an US number. Said he was an Australian Marine Engineer and could not call me because there's bad reception out in the sea even though he texted. So he insisted on talking through e-mail. Well THE POINT is, he wanted my paypal e-mail address and made an offer that was slightly higher than the advertised price without even inspecting the vehicle. He said he would only pay me through paypal. Telling me to sign up if I don't have it, adding that all they (PayPal) need from me is a valid bank account details. He said he would arrange someone to pick up the car. He said it was for his dad, but he cannot come to Australia for the next few months cos of his job... Has anyone had the same experience before? I said no more negotiations unless he or the person picking up is willing to pay me with a bank cheque. Scam right? But what can someone do just with a paypal e-mail address? surely can't they just input random e-mail address and hack it if that was their motive?
  12. Well that's a relief I thought something was wrong with my ad... Maybe I will consider a dealer trade in... But thanks guys!
