  1. yeh that dsnt sound too bad of an idea but if I do purchase say ur high flow turbo what else will I need to support it besides aftermarket ECU? and how much will labour set me back?
  2. okay i just spoke to old owners, and APARENTLY they gave me the wrong dyno sheet when they sold me the car. they had 7 skylines) and ive only had my car for about 2 months. I knew it didnt feel 200rwkw... new dyno sheet says 201.5rwhp**** my bad BIG rookie mistake. but i knew there was no way it was hitting 200rwkw especially with those little mods. so now my quesiton is.. anyway to push that without having to spend thousands of dollars? (sorry for wasting ur time on previous questions :// )
  3. im new and very keen! yelllow sticker doesnt come off til next week though "hopefully"
  4. oh so 200 kw atw is pretty decent? sorry im sorta noob.. my previous r33 "felt" quicker , no idea why but defenitly wasnt 200rwkw. What is "Stock" rwkw for r33 gts-t? yeh im happy with my cars performance but would be even happier if i could get a bit more out of it. And i defenitly dnt have 5k to spare. anyway of pushing another 10rwkw? without stepping into the thousdands of dollars mark? Also u say "if u set up properly" any ideas also on how to get the most out of my currents set up?
  5. Ok so im looking at doing a bit of work on my skyline. (r33 gts-t series 2) Looking for about 220-230 kw atw. According to my dyno sheet that i got with the car i have exactly 200kw atw. (anybody know is this is decent for a pretty much stock skyline or not?) I want to put as little work and money into it as possible while still getting reasonable performance. My questions are as follows.. 1. Should I get my turbo high flowed or buy a new one? I want it to pretty much bolt onto the stock manifold. ( If so, where do i get new turbo or get my one high flowed and plus how much $$ looking at?) 2. also i will need to change my ecu? or just get mine remapped? once again, where can i get this done, what do i use, and how much am i looking at? btw i am in perth. 3. if i change or highflow turbo, is there anything else i will need to modify for it to run properly? my mods are as follows.. -full high flow 3" stainless steal exhaust . -Front mount intercooler - pod filter -lowered suspension - super heavy duty single plate clutch and thats pretty much it besides boost gauge etc... any and all help is appreciated!
  6. hey guys. i need a stock full exhaust for my r33 gts-t to get over the pitts. (mines too big so its not meeting the 100mm clearance i need" i will buy if need too! pm me!
  7. 96 r33 gts-t . hence the "rb25det".
  8. ok just got back from the pitts, just need to change a small little things, no big deal. but the big deal is my car doesn't meet the height clearance requirement. my car actually isnt that low, its just cos i have quite a large exhaust and the cat is only 75mm off the ground. So i need to get a stock rb25det exhaust for my car just to install to get over the pitts. anyone know where i can buy one cheap? or if anyones selling one? its either that or i spend hundreds replacing my suspension to lift it, as i have lowered suspension but there not coil overss so i cant adjust it any higher. cheers guys.
  9. took it too tint-a-car today.. they said darkest legal is letting %35 light through or more... my door windows were letting about %32 -%33 through.. so hopefully they wont b to uptight and let that slide... BUT my back window was letting about %5 through!! lol so im screwed there.. defenitly needa get that ripped off..
  10. nahh previous engine was a rb25det so shudnt b a problem there? yeh the only reason i got the sticker was cos they saw me speeding but had no proof. so they used this to "punish" me. the pod isnt secured but its pretty small and doesnt flap around. the only thing worrying me is the tint. the back window is extremely dark. (cant even see my P's ) but if u dnt need a permit for the Pod filter , then that means the cop yellow stickered me for no reason?? as the only reaason he said he was doing it was cos of not having a permit for the pod/
  11. So guys heres the deal, I got a yellow sticker on my r33 series 2 gt-st for "not having a permit for my POD filter" BUT the cop said that if i place a heat shield on it, that it should be ok. or even if its not too large it shud go through fine. is this tru at all? also ive got a few other mods that im a bit concerned about but over all my car is pretty stock. Heres a list of my mods and if yous cud let me no if its gonne b a problem or not it wud b much appreciated! Also, are they gonna check every inch of my car? or mainly just the POD filter as thats all the cop wrote it up for? My mods are as follows, Aftermarket Front Mount Intercooler. Turbo timer Boost gauge Metal food pedals (not sure about if grip is sufficient) Super heavy Duty clutch. Stainless steal exhaust system. Coil over suspension. thanks guys, all help is appreciated! Oh and one more thing. the engine was replaced not long ago but wasnt "registered" or reported or watever to the licencing center. cos apparently ur meant to report that. any way theyll pick up on it?
  12. hi guys... ok ill quickly give you the low down of my car.. I have a 1994 r33 gts-t... Stock besides... muffler, ,manual blitz Boost controller, greddy FMIC piping, pod filter ,turbo timer, boost gauge Im currently running stock psi (7-8 psi i believe?) and i am planning to push to 10 psi? im just wondering what is the highest/ safest psi i would be able to run?.. thanks, all opinions are appreciated..
  13. hey guys, if i install this type of boost controller. Is there anyway of knowing (or judging) the psi with out a boost gauge? I know this might sound stupid but I do not have a boost gauge, and im worried if i just install it with out one i could cause some serious damage.
  14. nice pick up for 5k man! im also looking for a cheap r33 gts-t atm. can i ask how u obtained yours? im also an L plater
  15. Hi guys, I was just wondering if any of yous know of any good places to get turbos installed into r33 Gts-t's? money wise and reliability wise. Also any places in perth to purchase turbos of that nature? thanks alot guys! (ps im sort of a "noob" at all this car stuff)
