  1. Hey guys Got my car up for sale. Its a pretty quality ride (I reackon one of the better ones for sale at the moment) http://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/the-spectacles/cars-vans-utes/1995-nissan-skyline-coupe/1020998032 Cheers Andrew 0447021406
  2. got one here with inlet 0447021406
  3. Got one here in average condition 0447021406
  4. The fix is in the following pictures (from Plazmaman)
  5. Ok.... For those who are interested I have found the best solution. Although it's too late for me because I have already bent my pipes so I'll let you guys know how that went also. The best solution is to manufacture a 20mm spacer out of aluminum and run the Hoses on the far side of the fuel rail if anyone wants pics I will post them up. I got them straight from plazmaman
  6. No no this is what modification is all about.... Lol I'm thinking maybe extending/bending the bottom hose on the idle control valve but I'm just not too sure if it would effect my idle???
  7. Hey guys I got a plasmaman plenum which mounts the idle control valve on the side. Now I also have some Bosch top feed injectors and fuel rail. The idle control valve fouls on the fuel rail as it sits too high. I'm wondering if anyone has come across this problem and if so what they did to fix it? Also if I have to get a different set of injectors, what worked for you? Cheers Andrew
  8. I'll start. In theory it would be best to have it on the pipe after the intercooler as the air is more dense there. Also you can have a bigger intake pipe. The con would be that the afm is plastic and may be more susceptible to blowing off there
  9. I was having this exact problem in my late series 1.5 r33. I changed my coilpacks to the splitfire option and not only was the problem solved but I could run even more boost. I do think I'll drop my boost back though cause I'm a bit scared of detonation at the moment as I have done a fair few mods and haven't installed my power fc yet
  10. I been running seemingly fine on mine mate. I also use the avcr and I max mine at 0.8 of a bar. If you don't have spitfire coilpacks it will cause this problem on most occasions as it is a known problem for r33s. Either way the only reason I run miner like this is because I'm waiting for my upgrade to be shipped to me so i don't care if my turbo blows up because I heard it only the exhaust side. Stick with the safe level of 10 psi I know it's hard to go backwards in performance but unless you got cash to splurge I'd do it. I think from memory 10 psi is approx 0.7 bar at around 50% duty cycle
  11. Cheers for the reply mate. No my case is just an injector upgrade, I'm just making sure the impedences are equal but I heard gtst injectors are supposed to be high impedance which confused me as 12.4 ohms sounds like a very low impedance to me. The thought maybe my multimeter might have needed calibration lol. Either way, at least someone other than me has experienced similar results so thanks mate
  12. Well FYI I measured my old ones and also my new ones with a fluke multimeter. Both old and new measured 12.4 ohms. It doesn't seem right though I tried all of the ranges starting at M ohms
  13. I know the injectors are supposed to be high impedance but has anyone actually measured the resistance?
  14. Hmm ok. So say I got a second hand one for a reasonable price of this forum... How would I know it is genuine?
  15. Anyone had problems with the eBay "genuine" HKS Ssqv bov which just happens to be almost 1/10th of the price at the shops?
  16. Haha. Locating that bracket to sit right is a pain in the bum isn't it
  17. Where's the best place to get oil/water lines for the gt3076r (top mount)? And if you are gonna say eBay, then how long do they need to be? I'm gonna run a 6boost manifold
  18. eBay makes catch cans. Cheap to for a kit delivered is like 90 bux
  19. No it doesnt just don't disconnect the hicas computer under the parcel shelf. All I did was take the globe out of the dash cluster instead
  20. Thanks heaps guys. I was getting to a point where I was just about stuck and you guys showed me a way forward Kermit has been contacted and was very helpful. Cheers
  21. Where did everyone in Perth go to get thier dump pipes done to suit thier high mounted turbos? Is there something you can buy pre made for different set ups?
  22. I have looked under the hood of a few reasonably powered r33 gtsts and most of them have no airflow meters (that I can see) am I planning my upgrade wrong? I have a z32 and power fc.
  23. Hmmm. Thanks for the replies guys. I have ended up purchasing from ebay a jdm 50mm wastegate with an interchangeable 6 & 14 actuator. I'm hoping it does a good job but worst case senario I got a "v band" one so it's easily interchangeable. Cheers for the help though, if it doesnt work I'll change to the teil option
