  1. Dear Sau community, Currently in the market for a V series skyline for a younger sibling. As I've moved onto jzx chassis vehicles my knowledge is extremely limited on them. I have a Japanese odometer check underway but was wondering what you all thought of the following car in the link? A leak down test will most likely be performed on the vehicle prior to purchase.. http://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/north-adelaide/cars-vans-utes/2004-nissan-skyline-v35-ltd-70th-edition-full-leather-rare-combination-/1080519980 Any feedback will be regarded highly. Best regards.
  2. Since the noise has gone there's been no need to listen with a hose... The car still makes the same power under load but the misfire only occurs under the conditions I've mentioned throughout both of these threads.
  3. Guys from the forums think it also may have something to do with a faulty vvt-i solenoid.
  4. It was definitely knocking coming from somewhere in the head. Got underneath the car to try and listen but couldn't hear a thing.. Ever since I've removed the cam covers and unplugged all the coilpacks and re plugged them back in the noise has stopped. If it was bottom end knocking it still doesn't explain the misfire and it just stopping all of a sudden. The noise is very faint in the video you can barely hear it as opposed to listening to it in person, Haven't taken it to a workshop yet but leaning towards the ignition system or a crappy batch of 98 ron I purchased from woolworths service station. The car also seems to idle hunt when holding the accelerator in a fixed position after 10 seconds or so and continues to idle hunt for a few seconds after releasing the accelerator.
  5. Hey all, It's been some time now since I've been back on the forums. I've recently encountered an issue with my jzx100 I know this isn't the right place to be asking but thought I'd try my luck. Have posted on the jzx forums but nobody is providing me an accurate answer. Thought I'd swing past here and see maybe if someone with a bit more knowledge could point me in the right direction with somewhat of a more accurate response. Here's a link to my thread on the jzx forums please let me know what you guys think it may be. http://www.jzx100.com/forum/topic/13904-inconsistent-knocking-from-head-and-rough-idle/ Best regards and looking forwards to your responses.
  6. Car was insured by my understanding but no alarm and immobiliser I don't think. He explained to me if the car was found they were the next things on the shopping list.
  7. A big thankyou to the phonecall the new owner received for the location of the car. I'm sure he appreciates it a lot! Including myself, The car was worth so much sentimental value to me and glad it's back in the new owners hands.
  8. Hey all, Have sold this car not long ago and heard some bad news off the new owner today. The car was stolen this morning, It was stolen from the suburb of Prospect from the new owners girlfriends house. He parked the car there at approximately 12a.m then he mentioned to me he heard a loud car around 1:30a.m and didn't realise until he walked out to the car at approximately 11a.m that morning to find broken glass on the road. The car has stickers on the back window (kakimoto stickers + RB25DET neo inside) with a full dayz bodykit, front mount intercooler, kakimoto catback exhaust, distinguishable HKS ssqv, removed roof racks and tinted rear tail lights. I have linked some photo's to the thread for your reference if you have any information please contact Roy Beccaris on 0421993102 or you can contact myself on 0425656712. Best regards Chris.
  9. Such a shame to let them go to waste.. All one of them needs is a bush from what I've been told then it will be sweet. But yeah getting to that point I guess, No one wants them.
  10. $30 will be my one and only price drop.. They don't sell I'll be chucking them in the bin.
  11. For sale OEM radius rods to suit R33 GT-R ect (May fit other GT-R models) .... One of the rods have a slight bend/twist in the bush I've been advised but the other is fine. After $40 posted Australia wide at your expense. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/index.php?app=core&module=attach&section=attach&attach_rel_module=post&attach_id=399594
  12. Still cannot believe no one has snapped these up for $30 one of these is worth more then $30 lol...
  13. I can send it internationally upon your expense pal?
  14. Still firm on price of $30 for the both of them, I could be wrong and 1 may not be bent at all or as bent as I assumed, It was only the bush that was twisted by memory. The other one was 100% fine..
  15. $30 for the tension rods anyone decided I'll drop again... Need them gone $20 for the switch..
