  1. Hey guys, not really a Skyline/Car topic but just have a few questions. I'm moving from New Zealand to Vic at the end of this month, i'll be working in South Dandenong. 1. I've tried flatmates.com.au / realestate.com.au but either people don't like replying or they're useless. I'm looking for a place, not fussed if flatting situation or finding my own place, but i'll be bringing my dog which seems the deal breaker. She's an 8 month old english staffy, so short but muscley lol 2. Needing a cheap car, prefer with rego, if anyone has anything out there or knows of a mate selling something. Just after a 1000-1500 run around until I get my first few pays in to buy something nicer. Don't really care what it is, but prefer with a bit of rego I guess. Looked on gumtree, etc but my pet hate is people who don't put a decent description, like "1991 civic, red, reg".. How about how much rego does it have? lol And any general tips and info would be good Cheers,
  2. Got hit, stupid old lady. Oh well. Insurance payout = more than it's worth to sell anyway.

    Torn Bush M35

    $23 a side here.. lol
  4. 1800... Umm At Progrssive Foods depot, chucked it on their forklift scales(accurate for distribution), 1500kg with 2 people and half tank of gas...
  5. Yuck i'd never go inline lol. And no not 6 speed.... Unless I mated a getrag to it, but it'll just be a 5 speed RX7 box
  6. If neither the RX7 or M35 sell by the end of this year, the M35's getting the motor from the RX7.... Not even scared
  7. None of you are even close lol
  8. Nah.. Something to make them haters hate.. lol
  9. Holy shit... Those mounts... This motor will almost straight bolt in haha. Cheers guys! Legends
  10. Has anyone got photos of an empty M35 or even V35 engine bay? I needa see how the engine mounts work.... Mine may be getting a re-power.....
  11. No... lol The flexis after the downpipes are frayed, big centre muffler is split open like a coke can, front steering rack is now as course as 10 grit sand paper, rear diff has bits taken out of the bottom and my headlights keep coming loose from hitting bumps. It's not fun on the open roads, well sometimes it is... Like when you can pick up a flattened hedgehog you know you're low, or smashing a beer bottle that's lying down lol
  12. Edit - admin please delete! Found the pic thread
  13. I know, doesn't make sense to me... I find it stupid that before you get a cert, you can change wheels every day, yet once you're certed for 18x9s, 18x8 or 18x8.5 become unsafe!
  14. that's a bit of a pain! In saying that, certs can be a hassle here... Say if you get coilovers one month, you need a cert... At the same time they cert your coilovers, they record what wheels you went for the cert on and it's put ont oyour cert plate(without your say!) So you cant change wheels, unless you wana pay $500 and go for another cert... Same with steering wheels, if you went for a cert with an aftermarket steering wheel, then convered back to stock, you can get defected.... Fail!
  15. Hence the reason i'm going for a cert... It's getting certed at the height pictured, but afterwards you can go 5% lower or higher without getting pink stickered (defected). Here if you have a cert, cops can't touch you(most of the time)
  16. I didn't think anyone was attacking it... I just find it funny the difference in culture. Here I get nothing but comments saying I need to go lower lol. I've ripped the bumper off once(broke side bolts), reversing out of work car park over those stupid car park stoppers, parked too far forward. 30mm lower won't be too bad, I can get over all speed bumps, it's only my driveway I struggle... My neighbour who's acop has fits of laughter whenever he sees me come out of it lol
  17. Going for its wheel allignment today, camber is staying the same, just bringing elliminating the toe in. Handles meh, better than factory, but yes, if there's a big enough bump the top arms hit body... And no doesnt hit bumpstops I love how so many people comment on how bad it must handle... I don't care, it's not like I race it, that's what my RX7 is for.. Infact, after my cert I am going t odrop it another 30mm
  18. I think i'd piss myself laughing if that ever happened lol
  19. Subframe sits below chassis.... My sway bar is flat on the bottom and subframe is shiney silver.. Aint scared
  20. Hahaha, I get this every day... Most of the time it's from 60+ year olds in standard M35s, and I drive past them laying frame and throwing sparks... The digust I get thrown my way is awesome
  21. So many speed bumps! Every gas station I almost come to a complete stop when my chassis sits on them, and then there's the little metal grates in the forecort(for filling the tanks I guess?), I've actually pulled a couple of those out.... Any little bump the front subframe and swaybar sit on the ground, top arms hit body, its dragged the exhaust that much the rearest flange bolts came loose so my bozo pipe was flapping around abit haha... It's still practical.... Can still go 100km/h... With sparks
