  1. thanks! got 3 more I forgot
  2. hmmz comes down to remap anyway, its a stock reflashed ecu by the way. planning on hks gt2510s so will get all that sorted with the remap. thanks guys.
  3. I recently found out that my car is limited to exactly 230km/h. I don't drive these kinds of speeds that often, but Im going to the Nuhrburgring next month so I want this sorted out. Im pretty sure its an ignition cut (could tell by the 5 foot flames coming out the back when limiter is on) I know wire #53 has been cut already, but strangely enough its still limited. When I reach 230km/h the ignition is cut off untill I go back to about 220 then it would go back to 230 again. The car has got a custom map done by RSP in the UK. The speedo clock is stock and not converted to Mph. Anyone got an idea? apart from a 3 inch exhaust, 550cc denso injectors, hks induction, boost controller and custom map the car is stock.
  4. do I have to re-adjust the CAS with timing light after the cam gear is adjusted on the dyno? Or can I just mark the CAS and re-install the same way? Also 1 degree at the cam pulley would be 2 degrees at the crank, so in what degrees are we talking about advancing intake side 4 degrees? is that crank or cam degrees?
  5. okay, But how much degrees do I have to adjust the pulleys? I hear people saying advance 4degr. intake side and retard exhaust side by 2 degrees is this correct?
  6. hey guys, My hks cam pulleys havent been adjusted yet, so I am considering to adjust them a bit if it's actually worth the effort? And what is the best possible timing to gain high end power? it's an '94 r32 gtr, 555cc injectors, hks induction kit, full 3inch exhaust, running .75 bar boost. I've read some topics with random people saying advance intake side 4 deg, and retard exhaust side 2 deg. but I need someone who's got some experience with this before I get into trouble.
  7. No I'm from Holland, I was told by the previous owner (from UK) the 408hp was at 1 bar of boost, and he got me another dyno read out (345hp or so) wich believed to be at .75 bar of boost. I will take a look at the turbo's tomorrow, as for the boost. If i find out it's just stock turbo's then I think the best way is just get them rebuilt with steel internals and not go further than 1 bar.
  8. I just got the car 2 days ago, I got lots of paperwork including receipt from RSP anyway here it is speclist far as I know HKS mushroom filters Toad alarm system Nismo lower strutbrace Poly bushed upper mounts Rising Sun Performance custom chip Bilstein dampers splitfire coilpacks Denso purple top 550cc injectors steel braided brake hoses engine brace Greddy PRofec B spec-II boostcontroller 3 inch full exhaust Havent checked the turbo's yet so it may be upgraded ones,
  9. Ive got a dyno read out so pretty sure it is
  10. Hey guys I recently bought myself a r32 gtr with some mods already done to it such as 550cc injectors, full 3 inch exhaust, hks induction kit, boost controller and some other stuff. it's got stock ceramic turbo's but has been dyno-ed and mapped by RisingSunPerformance (14,5psi) 408,3 HP @ 1 bar of boost Considering it's going to be used for track days, I dont think the ceramic turbine will last long at 1 bar of boost, so I'm thinking about rebuilding it with steel internals. But do I need a remap again if I want to run 1,2 bar of boost?
  11. Soho NYC hole in the clouds! taxi
  12. We will see how it turns out, ordering coilovers now
