It's dual zone climate control, and I'd say it's more silver than grey. Nothing untoward, just ordered the wrong colour for my black interior. Can test it out if your in Adelaide, fits great and same finish as factory.

Yeah, he's got the stereo at the moment. That is who quoted $1300 CD Changer stripped a gear .. or ten. So it's either replacement unit or iPod in. I'd rather the full replacement for resale value.

Kicking myself - I cant imagine finding a nicer example (for this sort of money), I mean chrome trim is like it rolled off the production line

Hey guys, I recently picked up a 5 spd manual 240K Sedan with the intention of having as my weekender car and fixing up here and there. Unfortunately my V35 Sedan's radio died and now it needs replacing, (Approx. $1300). So with financial constraints I'm forced to put the dream on hold for a little while and put the 240K up for sale. The car set me back $2000 and if it means going to someone that'll look after it and restore it I'd be happy selling it for what it cost me. Good clean, mechanically sound car. What would one of these fetch? Chrome is immaculate, most panels rust free, minus front doors and front RH fender. Dash has a crack, otherwise interior has been covered from new (Wool seat covers) and floors always had mats. Doors trims are in perfect nick and doesn't leak. L24 Motor, doesn't have problems with cold start, ignition barrel is slightly dicky (Sticks on "Start" at times). Otherwise, minor diff noise but now I'm just being picky Thinking if I try pass it on to a workmate who is keen and has room to do the car justice. Otherwise I might have to store it until I get a shed setup or a bigger house.

Looking at selling my 1992 Holden Barina daily, 5 spd manual in white. Has low kms, super efficient on juice ($30-35 per 400km) Very tidy body, clean interior. Recently replaced waterpump, timing belt, pulley and front main (Only because waterpump sprung a leak) Aside from that mechanically great. I had intended to turbocharge it, and bought all the necessary components. Included in the kit is MY04 Turbo, Fuel Chip, Intercooler, all required pipe work, manifold, sump with oil feed, and basically everything ready to bolt on. Including mounting brackets. The setup was running on another car, I bought it for a laugh. Never fitted it. Starting at $2,800 for the car, turbo kit optional and highly negotiable. In Adelaide, SA.

Thanks for the tips, and it's a sedan Wouldn't mind a coupe one day. It's got some pretty average doors and front driver's fender. Not damage, just rust. Aside from that the dash has a crack in it, so need to source one of those. Apart from those "minor" faults, it's mint interior, engine bay/boot is clean and chrome work is immaculate. With donor cars, for parts like suspension does any of the other datsun's range work? (ie. 200B) Was thinking of looking into it, or are they miles apart?

Just put a deposit down on a fairly mint 240K GL. I've always had my eyes set on one.. and it was only when I gave up looking I came across one at the local shops. Is there anything I should know about these cars? Anything to keep an eye on?
