  1. Thanks but the safc is capable of correcting the problem...if only i could work it out
  2. The dec-air feature is what I need to set up but the SAFC manual is in JapanEngrish and the chapter on decair makes no sense! Has anyone here successfully setup the decair feature with an atmosphere BOV?
  3. looks nice! I would love to have that on a white tshirt...it would look cool!
  4. did you use spray cans or an airbrush Denham?
  5. as the title says how do you do this? with an atmosphere venting BOV what settings do you need to adjust on the SAFC (blue screen) to prevent stalling when coming off throttle?
  6. This is going to be sweet
  7. Is this for real? : http://www.takakaira.co.jp/asp/template.as...0%3Fa%5Dd%40%5F
  8. as you gradually push your foot to the floor you turn the resistance up on the dyno while watching the AFR and power figures
  9. by replying they 'bump' their thread back to the top of the forum. "free bump" BTW nice car, excellent price.
  10. I moved your thread to appropriate forum...
  11. yeah that is the first step...I assumed he'd already checked the globe.
  12. Can I order red with white printing? Can I pick them up sometime soon? Fri morning?
  13. I had the same problem a few weeks ago where my right side headlight wasn't working. I traced the problem back to the switch at the base of the column you use to turn the headlights on and off. There are no fuses for the headlights. I suggest you take the cover off from around the steering column, unscrew the unit that the indicator/headligh column goes into and probe around with a multimeter.
  14. I have one in mint condition in SE Melb. Email me: [email protected]
  15. do the high beams take the smae globes as low beams?
  16. I'll take a set of red ones. PM me when they're ready
  17. yeah i think I'll do that inasnt....but it would be nice to know for sure what effect the ecu reset has on the safc settings...
  18. I had my Apexi SAFC tuned to lean out the top end of the rev range but last weekend I had to disconnect the battery for ages and the ECU reset. Now I've read that the ECU 're-learns' all it's settings so would it compensate for the SAFC and add more fuel to bring the mixtures back up to factory levels (ie. work against the SAFC and add more fuel)???? I only ask because now I get a lot of gurgling and backfiring when coming off WOT which I didn't get when the SAFC was tuned which makes me think it's running rich again... plus the car feels less powerful and a bit sluggish (I originally gained 25rwkw with the SAFC tune). Should I bring the SAFC settings back to 0 then reset the ecu again and let it learn for a while then tune the safc back to it's leaner settings? Or does an ECU reset not affect SAFC settings? Cheers, Craig.
  19. Of course they can search you car if they want.
  20. Thankyou so much GTS33 for the description and wiring diagram!! I just installed it today and it works beautifully. cheers mate.
  21. I sent you a private message. please email me at [email protected] Thanks, Craig
  22. Yeah Tokyo is pretty cool. It's overwhelming the first time you go there. While you're in Tokyo head on down to Roppongi on a Fri or Sat night...party capital of Tokyo. On Sunday go over to Harajuku and check out the street carnivals. Have fun mate
  23. I put the blue Lightweight stuff in about 2 weeks ago (3.2L) and haven't noticed the problem you mention. Maybe you did overfill it?
  24. maybe the one in settings is the raw data value from the ecu but the one in monitor is the adjusted (true) readout.
  25. because inline 6's are more balanced they are able to rev higher and produce more power more efficiently. V8's make up for this by simply having more cubes.
