  4. oh ****, 'CD ERR F0' has been showing on the screen since I got the car back from the wkshop yesterday.
  5. .. haha .. just realised what i wrote last night ... no more posts past midnight for me
  6. My premium 300GT was a 03/2004 build, it was written off in last yrs march hailstorm. interesting factory parts were - gun metal/ grey colour (not silver) - center console was all black execept the circular area around the auto gear shift. - Series 2 boot lid - larger 'skylight' letters across, no release ledge on boot, release from drivers or from remote key only. I remember it was a big difference in engine response and power after a carbon clean at the wkshop even though the car only done less then a genuine 30k kms on the odometer. Mechanic said something along the lines of having to use twice the amount of carbon cleaner to do the job due to the build up.
  7. I'm a little confused, the maker of Godspeed sways tells me that they are only for coupe, but yet the whiteline ones could fit both 2drs and 4drs? so far 22 views and no reply yet
  8. Hi guys I've been looking at sway bars for my gt8 on ebay.com and found that there are a few v35 sway bars (namely Godspeed)that fits only coupes Is that entirely true or does it only NOT fit there AWD version of G35 there? ... what I mean is, does the coupe sway bars fit the sedans as long as they are not the AWD version? Does the whiteline in the group buy here fit both? Anybody here can shed some light on this? cheers!
  9. Hi Nas Don't be so keen to swap to the 5spd gearbox, you'll find that it's a far cry from the luxury feel of the gt8 cvt. Take this from somebody who have own(ed) both of them You do have to take care and make sure you have the tranny fluid changed properly ie, correct fluid, every say 80-100k Beware of the odometer in import cars, in general take them with a pinch of salt. Look at how worn the drivers seat, brake discs, etc instead. I did not trust that my GT8 had done 40+k when i bought it so i bit the bullet and got the tranny fluid changed to be safe. IRev in Bayswater is very experienced with v35 and they have the scan tool. They got the tranny oil at the best price for me. Call Nuwan 0422 807 393
  10. sorry for my late response ... looks like it's going to be a fire ban day on sunday Is the meet going ahead as planned? Me n mrs are interested to join in ..
  11. yeah that's me .. but the car is still not starting up occasionally .... and the startup is still sluggish, not what you'll expect from a new 430CCA battery and a fresh re-con starter motor .. going to get the immobilser checked out tomorrow from the workshop that complianced it.
  12. ok 96 views and I'm still having a monologue here .. anyway, for future reference ... I've got it fixed .. $250 recon + $80 labour in out done! I found one for $275 from an interstate wrecker, me thinks is too much for a used and unre-con unit. From Nissan Aus? -> about $1500 + shipping waiting time from japan.
