Help! 32 Gtr Clicking Sound Only When Front Wheels Engaged
chook replied to GON32's topic in Drivetrain and transmission
doesnt sound like 4wd relay which is in the boot and not that loud. If i had to guess in order, id check CVs, wheel bearings, driveshafts, front diff (maybe LSD shot..if fitted), transfer case. But firstly pursue those metal chunks you found. -
FS. 4WD Attesa accumulator cannister. bought new in Aug 2012, didnt fix problem (new attesa pump did), uninstalled after 2 days, nissan wouldnt refund. Basically new except for a few installation marks. These usually last around 10 years before internal charge is lost and most of the time will fix the 4wd relay clicking on S1 and S2 Stageas. Nissan retail is around $350 Pick up from 4053 QLD for $190 or $200 posted.

Not for sale until further notice, have been told by my mechanic that still a good chance that leak may be just a hose. Will attempt to fix first. Moderator please delete

If anyones after a cheap S2, lots of goodies, but needs a grand or 2 spent on it. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/414322-stagea-s2-rs4-2000-auto-qld/ Been a great reliable car for 8 years, but time has come to move on to slower and quieter pastures. Although I can never go back to 2wd, hello Subaru... Hopefully I can get quick sale, otherwise ill look at the painful and messy process of wrecking it on here early next year. Thanks for everyones help over the years, this site and the ppl have been invaluable. Simon
