hi, can anyone explain to me,on the casing of the timing belt on a rb25det there is a round boxy thing , probably like an electric motor to move the timing of the valves for the outlet. Ive noticed mine has a Mitsubishi sign on it . Why did the previous owner put that on ?. Whats it really called ?. I would like to check out the timming belt ,to see if it needs changing 150.000 km dont know if its been done or not. thanks to anyone that can help out

IM NOT SURE BUT I HERD FROM SOME PEOPLE THAT WHEN U TURN THE CAR ON U CAN HERE THE PUMP GO OF 4 "5" SECONDS WHICH HAPPENS BUT MY PROBLEM IS THAT THEY SAY THE FUEL LINE SHOULD PULSATE EVERY 3 SEC.I CAN FEEL SAME PRESSURE BUT NO POLSATE IS THERE SOMTHING WRONG WITH MY FUEL PUMP.IM THINKING OF BUYING FUEL PRESSURE GAUGE TO HELP ME OUT A BIT.& WHAT KIND OF FUEL PRESSURE DOES A 300HP CAR NEED. THANK U IF U CAN HELP ME OUT

mafia you where right about the turbo.in the cover there was a peace of crap in between the heat sheld, when i checked the bolt that holds the turbo to the menafold 2 where loose . should be a brain surgent. thanks

last night i greased the end of the 'actuator rod' & wd-40 wiped it down .it was like a different car in the morning "POWER". Im not sure if it is the swing valve controller,or the swing valve it self,at this time its running great. thanks 4 your understanding

i dont know all the parts of the car especialy turbos .ive got a boost controler. thats how it went +10 in ''n' first time it didnt do it again.the question is why would the car do that. PRIVILEGED PEOPLE WITH R33 .$12.500 my life acomplishment
