  1. Actually just did another check and get code 44 and 46 and then constant check engine light which is the traction control as you said. Is it likely the issue is it’s in limp mode? Is that what limp mode does? It will be a mild engine, it’s just in a patrol. I have another car with a 25/30 which Has a haltech which I will go crazy on, this is just for the bush lol.
  2. Does this guide come with the software?
  3. Thanks gents. Appreciate the help. Was thinking I would go haltech, but I may as well have a crack at the nistune since it already in there
  4. So it looks like it has a nistune type 4 board in it. Can the traction control definitely be turned off with the nistune software? I guess logging in and seeing What the nistune shows would be a good start to diagnosing what’s wrong. Will need to get the software
  5. Yes from a GTT, no idea if it had tcs, but it does have the 2nd throttle body. No idea if it’s nistuned, I should crack the ecu open and have a look. It has gone in the past I believe but whether the ecu was changed or something I wouldn’t know. I bought it as is. Would it create the issue I described if it wasn’t nistuned?
  6. I’m having some trouble getting to the bottom of an issue I have with an rb25 neo. It’s in a GU patrol. It idles fine, free revs fine but as soon as I put any load on it it goes for a few seconds then dies, coughs splutters etc. if I then put the clutch in, it takes a bit of time to recover. It’s pretty much undrivable. It did have the boost sensor hooked up wrong and the the afm has been replaced and now neither throw codes. Only codes at auto trans code, but it’s manual anyway. I assume just a auto ecu. Any ideas would be appreciated.
  7. Fml sorry all. I was looking in the manual. Need sleep.
  8. The manual doesn’t give you a pinout for the ecu. It seems to assume you have all the wires labeled inj1 inj2 etc which I don’t. Unless I’m missing something
  9. Hi all, has anyone got a pinout/diagram to wire a Haltech E11v2 to an rb25? Older model I know but it will do what I need it to. I don’t have the patch loom. Car is a conversion so doesn’t currently have a loom so setting up as standalone.
  10. Thanks for the answers. Ended up just at Nissan down the road from home. Simple and cheap
  11. I’m sure this has been done to death, but I can no longer find the proper Dohc guide. There seems to be a million ways to do this, but for those who have just tapped the rib under the vct solenoid, what size have you tapped it? 1/8 or 1/16? 1/8 seems to be easier to get fittings etc but not sure if it’s too big.
  12. Anyone know where to buy these? The little discs that go either side of the bottom timing gear on the crank. Found the woodruff keys on eBay but not the guides
  13. Has anybody got a guide or diagram to make an RB25 loom stand alone? I know I will need to wire up eccs, fuel pump and ecu relays, have power etc. I can work it out with a wiring diagram, but thought maybe someone has already done it?
  14. Thanks Duncan. It is an R33 RB25DE loom and ecu I currently have. But none of it is wired in at this stage. Waiting to see what ecu I can get golden of so I can wire in appropriately. Power FC it’s plug and play into original loom is that right? Never looked into nistune before, I will have a look. I had a Haltech I. No rb25 I had and had a Microtech on my old rb30det 240z
