    Ta , I will keep an eye on it there is about 60mm space in front of it but I will run another fan or something if needed as I don't want to loose all my boot lol

    Hi guys just finished the boot part if my install , it's removable for drags which is why I didn't glass it in as planned, pretty happy with it so far has taken about 8 hours I would guess.

    Yes be something needed to be seen in flesh there was a satin black Gtr for sale not too long ago. Body has to be good to pull it off up close though they say

    Leak wouldn't be their fault anyway more the fault of a 20 year old a/ c system but my bet is they would fix it pretty easily .

    Apparently sodium valves like rb26 exhaust valves do not transfer as much heat to the shim / bucket but rather they retain the heat internally hence the tighter clearance

    Hi guys just got my air con regassed and changed to r134a at carbon car at blacktown, nice and quick and nice guys there too would use again but fingers crossed I don't need to for a while, $100 and Aircon is ice cold , thanks guys

    Also if you are going to go that path you can always move shims around after marking and measuring sometimes that works

    Are they new cams? I had similar issue a few out of spec on both sides but after a quick run it seemed to settle itself I think the coating on the cams was the issue for me anyway and also many tuners run them tighter but exh is tighter I think because valves are sodium filled or something like that ?

    There is heaps of info on here on this topic but 14" exh and 15" inlet seems ok but I run mine a bit tighter

    I would think flex section would fix problem also check surfaces for flatness even if you use a steel ruler yourself and hold up to light .

    Doesn't look good but if you are going to try get a professional mobile thread repair guy, I wonder if there is a possibility of spot welding something to it like the panel shops use? Don't mean to give false hope just a thought. Scott

    These blankets are hard to get now, motorsport connections may have something but nothing universal so I'm hoping something American will fit should know tomorrow

    Thanks mate I will look into it as even though they are not andra approved any more its easier than a full scatter sheild and it's mainly a street car anyway.

    Yes they do mean more than anything else to me, and I enjoy having them both in the Gtr with me even with the baby seat which sits surprisingly well lol

    Oh you meant the baby? Yep Jessica's favorite toy is a r34 Gtr ride on car so yeah nismo all the way lol
