Had two Skylines stolen Hawthorn several years ago. Sadly nowhere is really "safe" anymore. A lock up garage is the way to go (I understand however, that this is not obtainable for everyone though). In saying that security in itself is essentially a faux concept - total security is unobtainable, and if it can be obtained - is generally limited to either a specific time, or place. As Leroy said, I wouldn't look at an import unless I could lock it up personally.

Haha this made me laugh. I can't stand those self-righteous bikers on our roads. They all think they're doing the earth a service and that we're all cops for driving a car. They don't pay rego, and I reckon this is disgraceful, seeing they're road users like the rest of us. True? And I don't have any sympathy for them, they ride on the road, and they know the dangerous that go hand-in-hand with road cycling. Obviously a bike vs a 1600kg car is going to come off worse.
