  1. Does it miss? does the boost actually rise? or does it just go up a little bit?
  2. Please make this sticky!!! PPL are starting to create new threads about this AGAIN!!!!
  3. Mate, Look at this thread http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...ghlight=Missing it should answer all... don't go replacing coils and stuff yet, you would be amazed what Silicon can do when pushed between the gaps of the coil body and the metal going round the coil. U Gotta squish it through with ya thumbs! I have replaced the tape with this method and have not had a miss for a very long time... I also run the stock 1.1mm GAP now too!!!!
  4. Check ya Valve dude. cheap to fix (usually free from ya tyre joint)!
  5. Hi, I could be wrong here but isn't S1 R33 different coils from S2? Ignition Module built in on each coil with S2 (none on the Coil Cover)... (It is with GTST, Not sure with GTR!)... Buy me one and I will tell ya! Andrew.
  6. Does it list the Bearings in the GTST Gearbox? I wanna rebuild the box but need to know the bearings (Before I pull it into many bits! )
  7. Has this law been passed? can R33 & R34 GTR's still be imported? if so, by whom??? Thanks!
  8. $1850!? Sounds like a GTR Box!? Or a Solid gold one maybe:!
  9. Do you have an Air Box or a Pod Filter??? Sometimes a Pod filter can cause the car to run REALLY RICH....
  10. Hehe, Yeah thats my next step! > BOOOST >>>> but I wanted to fix my Miss under NORMAL boost first! ... Now... Who's got a cheap safc for sale?! Seriously... !
  11. Zahos: Ahh, yes. If you boost up you can expect things like that (ECU goes into Safe mode - FILLER UP! )... But, I also *USED* to get a miss under normal boost in cold weather... Changing the Plug gap made it slightly better only!
  12. I too have this problem, it seems to be if you do a slow mid-high rev shift... I think it is backlash (in mine anyway)... But i think my box is stuffed.
  13. How is a safc gonna fix faulty coils? sure, it might mask the problem by changing the fuel ratio so as the spark is easier to make, but the problem will still be there and eventually get worse and catch up to ya! IMO Anyways...
  14. Hi Ben, I could be way off beam, but maybe you have a booster prob? A leak perhaps? Faulty Valve??? Worth a look perhaps? Thats my 5c 2c is long gone!
  15. JimX: Judging from mine, I'd say it was Definatally heat related... years being closed in - I think plastic has gotta go sometime!
