  1. Well unfortunately I have to part with this car after only having it for a short time I have another project taking over my whole shed which I really want to get a move on with so the R30 will need to go to fund that. Link to for sale thread here. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/422839-sa-1982-r30-w-r32-rb20det/
  2. Hi all, I haven't had this car very long at all but I have another project which I really want to finish and need some cash to do it, so here it is: Make/Model: 1982 R30 Skyline Engine: R32 RB20DET Kms: App. 160,000km on dash Mods: R32 GTS-t front calipers and R33 GTS rotors with new pads. HR31 front struts. Z31 rear end. DR30 dash cluster, seats and tail lights. Resprayed in R33 GT-R silver. Heavy duty clutch. Big but well hidden front mount cooler. Some sort of bosch fuel pump. 3" exhaust. 16" rims. Pioneer CD player and 6X9s. Also have a spare diff and driveshafts as the one in it has a little bit of play. It hasn't got any worse so I haven't bothered changing it out. Car is in reasonable condition, paint could do with a buff and it has a few small dents and scratches. But for someone with a little bit of time on their hands it won't take much to clean right up. I just have a car stripped to pieces all over my shed so my priority right now is to sort that out. I have been using it to run to work and back and have not had an issue with it, this RB20 runs even smoother than the R32 I used to have. I have this advertised on gumtree for $4k, looking for offers somewhere around that area. Feel free to shoot me an offer, just don't bother lowballing me. Rego runs out towards the end of this month, if I get a good offer I will chuck on another 3 months rego. These R30s are getting harder and harder to find in good condition, believe me I was looking for a while before I found this one. I can be contacted on 0423 464 288, SMS probably better during business hours. Cheers, Dwayne
  3. Haha cool as, would love to get mine even halfway as low as yours. Although it should probably wait til it is registered with the RB20...
  4. Looking awesome mate! What suspension are you running? What engine is in it?
  5. R33 GTS discs, 280mm X26mm (exactly the same as R32 GTS-t but already drilled as 4 stud). Got them brand new for just over $100 delivered, on sale on eBay through RDA. All of it fit like a glove
  6. Got a little bit busy yesterday arvo. http://i1326.photobucket.com/albums/u657/dwayne293/3149311B-F21C-44D1-A914-4CC0188369A7-108-000000006EA55597_zps74bc05b4.jpg R32 GTS-t calipers and R33 GTS rotors. Just need some pads and should be right to go. Thanks to ydr030 for the tip on removing the olive, was a simple swap.
  7. Well I only picked this one up about a week ago so no trouble yet But I did have one about 9 years ago now and even then bits weren't exactly readily available. A lot of things work though. Engine, driveline and suspension is similar to old z's and a lot of R31 parts fit. Mine has an RB20 so no problem with engine parts either.
  8. Ah sweet thanks. Will measure up the rotors that are on there now as it appears to be hr struts and possibly rotors but some pathetic little calipers. Bummer about the tacho, might have to try and rip the guts of of a 32 tacho and make it work. Hmmm
  9. Cheers ydr30, yours looks insane! Yeah I can't seem to find much info on converting the tacho signal, have read a bit about using a resistor but no idea if it will work or not. Aftermarket seems to be the go but I will leave that until I have the thing registered with the RB20. Previous owner gave me a set of R32 GTS-t callipers. Anyone know if these are a straight fit on the HR31 struts, using the HR31 rotors? Not sure on the differences between HR31 and R32 rotors...
  10. Sorry was meant to say what engine you have lol. Good old iPhone autocorrect
  11. Hi Kev, Pretty sure all of the L6's use the same clutch. If you ring a clutch place and tell them what winging you have it won't be a problem. I never had a problem when I had my L20ET and that was a lot rarer around here than the L24.
  12. Forgot to take measurements of my intercooler today but took a couple of pics. Not too much to see, inlet and outlet on the same side which is a good setup. Still have a lot of tidying up to do in the engine bay. Little bits of rust in the usual area at the strut towers, underneath the battery too but that will be an easy one.
