Rotors are off the shelf and a common part, unsure on how you would fit them to an r34 but the handbrake size is the same I wouldn't buy new gtt calipers from nissan they will be expensive, get a second hand set and throw a seal kit from someone like tarks and give them a paint Alternatively https://www.mrpltd.co.nz/product/skyline-r32-33-34-big-brake-kit-355mm/ https://www.mrpltd.co.nz/product/skyline-r32-33-34-big-brake-kit-324mm/

  4. Hey all I have a r34 rb25det neo in my r32 running the stock loom and ecu its taken alot of headaches to get the car running as well as it currently is now I have a list of mods and think what will limit me is the stock ecu Engine has 3" exhaust Dsr430 turbo greddy style ffp with 80mm throttlebody Fmic 2.5" hot and 3" cold piping top feel fuel rail with neo injectors tomei fpr 550hp fuel pump dsr coil packs topmount stainless manifold port and poilished head 50mm tial bov 41mm tial wastegate (9psi) gfb boost controller pod filter with cai Im currently running the afm in blow threw set up Now from memory the stock ecu has a boost cut at 15psi? Im going to run her upto 13-14psi this weekend after I sort the oil return leak and get my oil gauges on any idea on what rwkw Ill get and how safe it will be (note I will take it on the dyno to check afrs etc as well) thanks
  5. im using the stock ecu atm but this is my 2nd neo engine and the last one ran with the ecu ive got hooked up
  6. Its an rb25det neo thats got alot of mods also Im running a 0.8mm gap because I had stock coils
  7. Weird ive always been told you have to have the cas plugged in to start my injectors are the stock neo injectors in a greedy plenum with a top feed fuel rail and then a tomei fpr the spark plugs are covered in fuel when I take them out so don't think thats the issue but could be wrong I have brand new plugs gapped at 0.8mm with dsr coils and have pulled each one out and checked the spark it seems fine to me maybe my injectors arent mounted properly I had issue when fitting them will look again
  8. so everythings hooked up I have Spark' Fuel Air compression 140-150 (cold comp test) across all 6 but the car wont start it cranks over and pops out the pod but doesnt run I have brand new coil packs and spark plugs 20L of brand new 95 fuel with octane booster so 105ron only thing I can think of is the advanced timing on the cas is out any ideas engine is a rb25det neo in an r32 with lots of bolt ons
  9. When I ripped the head off I got it skimmed and I checked all the valves etc and everything seemed ok (valves went up and down fine etc) I didnt get it vac tested so im guessing it will be the head hoping not however :s im taking it to my mates dad whos a mech and going to get him to set timing and do a leak down test to see whats up im guessing head will need to come off and be rebuilt or replaced if it needs replaced id have to buy a long block as finding a neo head is near on impossible
  10. Ok so i have a rb25det neo in my 32 long story short some di*k tried to nick my rad cap and I didnt notice so car overheated bad head gasket went and compression as follows 1st cylinder 30psi 2nd cylinder 0psi 3rd cylinder 0psi 4th cylinder 60psi 5th cylinder 31psi 6th cylinder 121psi engine was a 80000km import motor with a range of 150-147psi so I got the head skimmed 25thou och new gasket etc all torqued down got a mate to do the timing (may still be out will be getting reset asap) car wouldnt turn over redid the comp test on the first 3 cylinders and gave up as the results where the same there is no water in any of the cylinders so I know the head gasket is sealed before I replaced it there was no oil in the cooling system or water in the oil pistons dont seem to have shrink and pretty sure rings are ok could the timing cause compression issues? any other reasons this could be happening ? otherwise I may just get the engine rebuilt or buy a long block (grrrrr)
