  1. Price drop to $2500 Need the car gone
  2. Up for sale is my 1993 R33 series 1 gts4 Rego until March Non turbo engine, ATTESA 4WD 243xxx km's Maroon Recently work done: Tinted windows Power steering pump replaced RDA slotted rotors and new pads installed on the front wheels Exedy HD clutch installed The car also has a new battery The car has all required cables in the boot to set up a sub-woofer (this was done by the previous owner and have never used them myself) Overall the car is pretty much stock, excluding the clutch, steering wheels and wheels. There is paint damage on the spoiler and left side of the car, this can be seen in the photos. There is also a dent along the left door and front quarter panel. The motor for the drivers side window doesn't work, however I do have spare doors with a working motor waiting to be transplanted. I'm selling the car as I've acquired a newer car, I don't drive it often and don't have much of a reason to keep the skyline. I'm after $3,500 ono contact me on: 0404 905 134 or PM Any details I've missed let me know and I'll update. https://imageshack.com/i/giiopcj https://imageshack.com/i/ghjhoqj https://imageshack.com/i/0wi77oj https://imageshack.com/i/nmb44xj https://imageshack.com/i/13l56ej https://imageshack.com/i/n6jousj https://imageshack.com/i/g9jkfnj https://imageshack.com/i/nf9ht2j
  3. Update: New guy came out and changed the battery no problems. Then after he asked me about the people who came before. So he said: the battery doesn't need to be vented because of its size, then showed me some models that had the holes to fix a hose to. Also said he's unsure of why the other guys didn't just changed the battery and said they've made a mistake saying the battery is the wrong model and not an NRMA battery. I don't know whether or not I should write to the NRMA about this episode of incompetency, if the 2 guys hadn't requested that the person who changed my battery last to come and deal with this, I would have been refunded the money and left without a battery.
  4. Ok, but if the battery came in the boot factory, then shouldn't it also be vented factory? I'm not sure what to look for. I really don't understand this since no one has mentioned this problem before
  5. Thanks for the clarification. I might make a complaint about this depending on the outcome.
  6. R33, Fixed I couldn't find any info on dual batteries on the web
  7. Hey fellow skyliners, I'm in the need of some help with understanding whats going on with my battery. I'm still trying to get my head around this. So I had a guy from the NRMA come and have a look at the battery in my car. The car is a 1993 r33 gts3 and the battery is in the boot. He was pretty knowledgeable and sent for someone to come and replace the battery. 2 guys from the NRMA came along (a while after the previous guy had concluded his work) some of the main confusions I got from a conversation with them: They were confused as to why the car didn't have 2 batteries - one in the boot and one in the bonnet. Apparently some skylines have 2? They said the battery wasn't the right model - A guy from the NRMA replaced it last and that was the battery that I was given. I think the battery the NRMA give to silvias fit my car and the official r33 battery didn't fit. I can't quite remember. My main problem is that this is the battery that fits the car, why are they saying it's the wrong one. And lastly, I was told the boot has to have some kind of vent when a battery is present in the boot - this really didn't make much sense to me. I was told that the guy who previously changed the battery is going to come and give me a refund, I told them that I wanted a battery and they said something along the lines of "if its your choice to have the wrong battery" Does anyone have any insight into this?
  8. Does anyone have a stock gear knob for an r33?
  9. I've never learnt this lesson, please share
  10. Barely noticed his absence. He's probably found a new forum
  11. Was me Richard. You may have noticed this time I was giving my mother a lift in the skykine, she dropped my grandmothers car off for a service. You were driving a little fast dont ya think? I've had my eyes on your 34 since you got it. Reds a nice colour.
  12. Just trying to get my head around this, what cars have been seen doing dodgy stuff and where does this maroon 33 come into it?
  13. Its definitely not me everyone.
  14. Spotted a fugly bogan in a commodore flipping me off after tail gating me for a few kilometers while I stuck to the speed limits. This includes a road that had 2 lanes. Times like these I wish I was in a big 4wd, I would have no hesitation slamming the brakes and claiming there was a cat on the road.
  15. Finally put a second hand radiator in. Skyline seems to be running well now, except for the odd knocking sound coming from a wheel
  16. Whenever there is a break in we get to go check it out as part of class. Although I've never heard of a skyline stolen there
  17. Grey r33 at cit bruce, it had an sau sticker on it so maybe it belongs to someone here. Trying not to get to presumptuous here
  18. Im interested in the radiator. Its a stock one right?
  19. Trozzle speeding? What has the world come to.
  20. Discovered I had a coolant leak a while ago, finally got round to checking things out. It seems that there is an actual leak coming from the grille of the radiator (one of the vertical columns the fluid runs down) and somewhere from one of the corners. Its a bit hard to tell and I've had to run fluid through it at all sorts of wacky angles. Anyway - what should I do replace, repair? what are my options? btw its not a stock radiator and its pretty massive
  21. Considering I rarely drive the skyline thats pretty accurate.
  22. oh you noticed, I should have stuck my hand out. I know how you felt, I always try to look tough when people are staring at me
