  1. In my experience, get the car you can’t buy in 5, 10 or 15 years. I’ve had 32s, 180sx, xr8 and sold them all only to realise later they are out of reach due to cost or quality available. I’ve now got 34, got it 3 years ago before prices started going up and I’m slowly getting parts to turbo swap. Will be something I never sell and probably work on for the next 30 years.
  2. Okay that makes way more sense. Obviously manual swap is the way to go, but for now with the basic power I’m looking for I’d like to retain the auto (grown to enjoy the tiptronic). I’ve already got the GTT auto ecu so will just sort out the wiring side of things. Thanks for taking the time to reply.
  3. Okay I feel like I’m getting more confused as this goes on haha, so from what you’ve said above: to use the gtt auto ecu you need to wire it into the tcu to control the auto. ORRR you can keep the NA TCU and run a completely different ECU seperate?
  4. So does this mean a better option for an R34 de+t is to run a stand-alone ecu (power fc, adaptronics, link etc..) or still better to run the gtt auto ecu with nistune?
  5. R34 with Rota D2-EX in 18x9.5+18 all round. tyres - 235/45 all round. Fit perfect. Has BC BR coilovers set to fairly stiff. Slight rubbing on front inner plastic guard at full lock. And only rubs on the rear slightly if I hit a huge dip in the road at speed. Will probably give the rear guards a slight roll and lower more in the back.
  6. Hey all, fairly new to all this, been looking to buy a 32 for a while now just slowly saving up. Problem is I'm pretty picky and havnt been able to find anything i like, i was going to get one imported from Japan but had a few people tell me its not as simple as it sounds (even going through import company) anyways to cut a long story short wondering how easy and pricey it is to convert an r32 auto to manual. any info would be great. Cheers
