  1. Check ATP website too. They have an option for GTX turbos to spec with RB26 compressor covers. Might work out cheaper than getting GCG to machine them.
  2. I think your your chassis might need straightening.
  3. Just noticed ATP turbo has the RB comp housing as an option on many of their turbos, including larger options like the GTX3071. Link to GTX2863R as an example: http://www.atpturbo.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=tp&Product_Code=GRT-TBO-186&Category_Code=GTX
  4. I'm also interested in this topic. I specifically got the Blitz SE return flow cooler for my car, as many people have made good power with them. I haven't really gotten the results I was hoping for, and my tuner is convinced it's because of the cooler. The only difference I can think of is that I'm aiming to run fairly high boost 20psi+ which makes me think that perhaps the pressure drop across these return flow coolers get magnified at higher pressures. Be very interested to see results from Stao's testing on his R34! Also, anyone have any experience with the Plazmaman entry level cores?
  5. The "tyres you use(d) and how you rate them" thread not cool enough for you guys?
  6. GTX3067 results were with return flow cooler, but dump is custom 3". That was thought to be an issue, but changed with zero difference. I'm interested to see results of this investigation here.
  7. Looks great. Good choice in size and offset IMO.
  8. The kit comes with two mounting brackets for the top of the cooler. One for the 33 one for the 34. You're definitely using the right one?
  9. Hi Stao. I believe I saw an add for your R33 GTR on carsales. Didn't realise you were selling?
  10. Yep, I learnt that lesson the hard way with the GTX3067. After having the dump remade to fit the different turbine housing didn't achieve results any better (arguably worse) than bolt on offerings from Hypergear. I tell myself I have something a little different at least
  11. Agreed. On the add on ATP site it says: "The GTX29R series adds more high flowing internally gated configurations" Might be interesting to see.
  12. Why not just ask him to let you try them? Easier than tying to guess.
  13. How much of the impressive spool could be attributed to the vcam?
  14. Stock turbine inlet is T3. Not really worth changing your manifold if staying with a high flow.
  15. I have the same issue in my 33 at the moment. I had the tank replaced 2-3 years ago and was told this was a common problem, but I was sceptical. Did you find your issue? I hope I don't have to replace the whole tank again
  16. http://www.sau.com.au/forums/index.php?/topic/434942-Rb25-Dyno-Results-Summary
  17. Correct as I understand it too. Certainly for R33, but I believe R34 won't be much different.
  18. Photos of mine are only a couple of pages back. Post #3172 http://www.sau.com.au/forums/index.php?/topic/84208-Wheel-Sizes-&-Offsets-For-Skylines#entry7430526
  19. What car? I have +38 with 265s on the back of my R33. Fits without any dramas with light roll.
  20. I'd be surprised if they didn't clear the calipers. And yeah, D9Rs are a good looking rim.
  21. From my experience thus far I'd tend to agree. With standard sort of mods it's not doing much more than a gt28 turbo, and response even with 0.63 housing isn't mind blowing.
  22. We tried running more boost, but that was as high as it'd go. Prime suspect at the moment is the turn-flow intercooler. Graph from Stao in Hypergear thread showed as much as a 5psi loss over normal cooler which would make quite a difference. Changing cooler is on the drawing board for this year.
