  4. in other words can you hook up a hks camp1 with a plug & play ecu? or is it kind of same as a standard ecu? i do not have a clue when it comes to ecu's and so on..
  5. Hi i have got a Nismo LCD cluster with the HKS camp1 iam setting up soon, The reason i got the HKS Camp1 instead of the Camp2 is because i was reading up about it on a fourm and one of the guys were saying the Camp1 is for aftermarket ecus and Camp2 is for standard ecus. im looking to get either a Haltech Plat 2000 or the Haltech Plat Plug & play ecu. I just want to confirm if the HKS Camp1 will hook up with either one of them? thanks

  10. The M4 is one of MoTeC’s earlier generation engine management systems, sharing a similar architecture to the M48. Highly capable and still very popular, the M4 represents excellent value for sequentially injected four cylinder and two rotor applications. Applications up to twelve cylinders are possible using group fire or semi-sequential injection. Several upgrades are available to increase the functionality of the M4 including traction and launch control, anti-lag and data logging, to name just a few. The DOS-based tuning software is efficient and easy to use. BASIC SPECIFICATIONS Outputs 4 x Injector outputs—high or low ohm Up to 4 x Ignition outputs—see optional configurations ‡ Up to 4 x Auxiliary outputs—switched or PWM—for functions such as turbo waste gate control, idle speed control, intercooler spray bars, or to be used as additional ignition outputs ‡ ‡ Optional ignition/auxiliary output configurations: (configurable in software) 4 ignition outputs and 1 auxiliary output 3 ignition outputs and 2 auxiliary outputs 2 ignition outputs and 3 auxiliary outputs 1 ignition output and 4 auxiliary outputs Inputs 3 x Analogue voltage inputs—fully configurable including custom calibrations 3 x Analogue temperature inputs—fully configurable including custom calibrations 1 x Wideband Lambda—for Lambda measurement and control 2 x Digital/speed inputs—for wheel speeds and function activation Communications 1 x RS232 Physical Case size 120 x 100 x 36 mm Weight 400 g 1 x 36 pin waterproof connector with gold plated contacts MOTEC M4 CLUBMAN + LOOM LIKE NEW $1500
  11. ah ok really..yeah i was thinking im prob best of looking for a new ecu that suites my application more but wanted to see if i had any other options..i was thinking of either haltech or motec m600..also why do you think those injectors are not the best? i did read something about them saying they dont idle properly and i would have to use methanol not petrol?
  12. hi i own a R33 S2 GTST with rb30/25 in it..i have not gotten it wired up etc yet and am a bit confused with the ecu side of things as im not the smartest when it comes to that..i have a motec M4 clubman but the problem is its designed for a 4cylinder and only has 4 ignition & injector outputs but i need 6x outputs for each? i was reading through another site about it and they were saying it is still possible to run it through a 6cylinder by parallel up 2 of the injectors and 2 coils..another site said to run a motec igniton expander and use batch or semi seq fire for injectors (which i dont really understand)..also i have indy blue 1700cc injectors would it be risky to parallel them up or it would make no difference? can u please help what i should do or need to get? apart from buying a new ecu whats my best option?
  13. i got it checked it has not been upgraded with m8 software sorry, its an 2007 M4 Clubman with latest version of software v6.2.
