  1. Got it, thanks. It feels fine but will get more of an idea of the changes when I take it on my usual circuit. I know it has been asked already but is there any longevity problems with this mod? I'm sure there are people that have been running it for a number of years now..
  2. Nah definitely not getting infinite boost as it peaked just over that halfway mark on the gauge as I mentioned. Yeah I know the factory gauge is pretty dodge - I wouldn't mind a proper accurate gauge, I think it would be wise if I eventually get a nistune. Do you know if it's possible to just change out the factory boost gauge and leave the others (apart from looking a bit meh)? I guess the question is - those who have done this mod and are still using the factory R34 boost gauge, where does ~5psi sit? Pretty sure I have done the mod correctly....it doesn't look like rocket science. erm...whats R&R
  3. Finally got around to doing this today. Car feels to pull a but harder when coming out of a corner in second. Haven't had the chance to take it for a big hit yet. If it's not done correctly it will only boost to ~5psi correct? On my stock 34 boost gauge she sits a little over halfway to +1 which would be around 0.8 bar is that right? Only mods are full 3.5in turbo back exhaust and FMIC so this would constitute slightly higher boost than normal right? fun, cheap little mod
  4. Put a coat of clear on last time I did my headlights and it worked a treat.
  5. dammit, should have nabbed some weather shields.... Stupid AUSpost and their screwing around, they have been having lots of dramas with the system apparently
  6. whats happening sunday
  7. It's an interesting colour. Just to clarify for buyers, mileage is in Kilometers correct? Does car come with RWC? I would recommend putting this in the general cars for sale section, and perhaps have a look at other examples and revise your price.
  8. Cleaning AFM will defo help. Do you get a lot of soot on your rear bar around your exhaust?
  9. Doing those sort of k's i'm guessing you hit the highway a fair bit? You must have a lead foot with that sort of economy, I get that with pure town driving....
  10. thanks guys, I feel a bit more confident that it was the source of the problem. Been driving the car for the past 3 days for varied times without issues, so hope she's all sweet again
  11. What type of sub box and sub is that? GL with sale
  12. Long story short I have had heaps of problems with my 34 stalling at low revs and being very hard to hot start: full dets here. I replaced the CAS yesterday and the one I pulled out seemed to be well and truly shagged. There was a lot of rust particles in and around the shaft, and the key would not spin freely; when you shake it it sounded like there was something loose inside. Anyhow, the car now seems to be driving fine again. I really hope this was the root of the problem and I know a faulty CAS will cause hot start issues but can it cause the car to stall??
  13. I like it, not too crazy just a nice flush look. You have any side on pics?
  14. Nice. Good to see some GTT's! What fitment you running there?
  15. haha, I don't like the idea of them either but plenty of people use them
  16. Boss looking wheel and that sounds like a good price. Your fitment will be conservative and require no mods but I guess you always have the option of spacers if you want a bit more of an agressive look.
  17. They aren't crazy concave of course, but they are far from flat. TE37's easily one of the best ever, and the cost reflects so.
  18. The fronts will be fairly flat but my rears have a bit of concavity, and only 2 offset lower. TE37's are pretty exxy though, have you looked at Varrstoens's or Rota Grids?
  19. *cough* drinks *uncough*
  20. Will be fine, exactly what I am running except my rears are +38 offset. +40 is the offset of the stockies I believe
  21. Bump - desperately needed
  22. I don't think that will go on without guard work, particularly on the front
  23. will take definitely take CAS and maybe AFM if you part out
  24. yeah thought there were a bit dodge, and too good to be true
  25. Hi all - just curious if anyone has seen or used the following product listed on ebay and/or had dealings with the seller? Looks cheap for a new item but the integrity of it remains to be seen.
