  1. I'm happy to send the damaged section to AM as the titanium is light as, whole exhaust is only 6kg so can't see this pipe being more than 2kg as most of the weight would be with the muffler. They seem quite expensive but you get what you pay for and I'm cheaping out on an R34 GTR... Anyone got a contact # and or email for them???
  2. Ok so thats the problem I don't have the joint still on the arm, its completely off and thats why the nut won't come off. Do you know where I could source a new ball jolint from if I need to as the impact was pretty bad??? I also need new sway bar links and have had trouble sourcing them any ideas?? I've got new rear lower arms and the other arms not sure their name so will be replacing those also, as well as coilovers. My problem is now that I just cannot get the rear coilover off, the bolt/nut is just on way too tight and simply budge. Looks like I need to get myself some decent tools and a big ass breaker bar. Thanks heaps mate, I'll get back to you once I've had a chance to give it another go. Much appreciated!!!
  3. Hi guys, I had a small accident where the car bottomed out and dented the middle pipe that joins the cat and the muffler. Its a genuine trust 90mm titanium exhaust and the pipe is just straight with one slight bend. I was wondering whether this could either be repaired or if someone could refabricate an identical pipe. Its 90mm titanium pipe which goes from the cat to the muffler of my R34 GTR. I can post pics if required. Anybody know where I can get this done??? I'd like it refabricated in titanium if possible...
  4. Hi guys, I've cleaned up a gutter in the R34 GTR and am replacing both of the front lower control arms. Only one of the control arms has both joints on it so I need to remove the joints off one of my existing control arms but am unable to get one of them off. I can get the inner ball joint off (the one with four bolts going through it, but the suspension ball joint side, the side that attatches to the knuckle, I simply cannot get the nut off it. When I rotate the nut it rotates the bolt, even tried to multigrips on the thread but still no luck. Any advice would be great!!! I've completely removed the brakes and all suspension from one side so its literally an empty wheel arch and am attempting to put the new complete control arm (that came with both ball joints on it) on but am not having any luck. If I put the inner joint in first so thats the side with four nuts/bolts going through and then try and get the axel/pin through on the other side (remember no brake or knuckle on so only two sides to fit at the moment) I just can't get it in. I get it to like within a milimeter but the pin just won't go through, its like I need a guide attatched to the front of it to steer it through. If I do the reverse and put the axle/pin through first and then try to put the inner ball joint side on the four bolts simply don't line up. Any suggestions?? If anyone wants photos I'm happy to take some to assist with understanding this issue and apologise if my description is pretty shit, I'm far from being a mechanic...
  5. ^^ you havent seen sh!t till youve seen how my friend mods headlights..... Mine are on the way but these are pix of what he's done in the Evo community:
  6. Did you end up selling your suspension mate as I need some parts for mine as I destroyed it all as I hit a gutter. Please PM me as I hardly have a chance to go through all the threads I've posted in...
  7. Hi guys, I'm doing some repairs to the chasis of my r 34 gtr and need to get a front piler/tower cut going from the front tower through the firewall, upto about halfway up the windscreen and about 30 or 40cm along the bottom rails. Basically whats happened is the wheel has been pushed back into the chasis when I hit a gutter so I'm going to replace the damaged chasis parts. I understand there are some difference due to the r34gtr being 4wd but as the parts being replaced are the very end of the rail and inside of the wheel arch towards the firewall that these subtleties between chasis won't make a difference. The price difference is significant thats all. I need to know that the spot welds are and panels will be in the same place so I can transplant from one to another. Anyone know??? If you need pics of the damaged area I'm happy to post... Thanks!!!
  8. Had an accident in my R34 GTR and need to pretty much replace all suspension arms front and back but am finding it very difficult to find R34GTR rear suspension arms, not just lower arms but all parts inside the guard. Does anyone know if R33GTR or R34Gtt parts are compatible cos the 34GTT parts look practically identical but I don't want to spend all the money on freight only to find that they don't fit. Any ideas???
  9. So even though I tried to jump it from the jumping points in the engine bay, not the battery in the boot, still not enough power coming from the other battery??? Starter motor was really slowly turning over....
  10. I had an accident in my R34 GTR and haven't turned it over for six months as I've been away. I tried to jump start it today and the starter motor would turn slowly but the engine wouldn't start. I've put new oil and coolant in the car, do I just need a new battery or is the starter motor stuffed as well??? I hit a gutter at high speed but when the car came to a halt the engine was still idling so I know it's fine. Any advice on what I could do???
