I wouldn't know Matt, I haven't driven it!
I'd say it weighs in around the 1100-1150kg mark with everything taken out, but the cage added in. But I'll get it weighed soon enough once it's working. It felt pretty quick on the 250 or so rwkw's I ran ever so briefly at Sandown so 285 sounds promising.
Graph attached mate. It lost some power through the mid range with the cam timing change from it's initial Winton-last-minute tune, but gained a heap up top. Boost response is identical to what it was with 240rwkw's, and on the same boost level it makes a 45rwkw gain. It's also running 11.4 AFR's as we had a boost leak at the injectors so were running on the safe side in case they decided to seal up while I was running, so there should be a bit more in it at the same boost level.
Troy: Stay with the 240 mate. This was not worth the expense and hassles, despite the nice figure. I'm sure it will be great when it's all sorted but I could have been racing this whole time and that I won't get back.
But as Russ said, if I were to do it again I'd buy a crate engine.
