  1. Can get it here: http://www.modyourcar.com.au/haltech-iq3-display-dash-p6466
  2. I'm hoping my sexy DCCD switch will help me with that. I still have memories of Vin doing sweet donuts on the spot like a WRC car, and Ewok doing some nice slides around the cones in his '05 STi... I want to do that too! Wheeeeee Dan: Lock the tailer to the tow car
  3. Do it Dezz, it's awesome man!
  4. Looks to be a really nice setup, and well priced too, especially for the logging options.
  5. You may be best doing that Dan. Take the Sil off the trailer, then park it directly behind it so no one nicks the trailer.
  6. For me though, it creates an issue with hotels as I won't leave my car on a trailer outside on the street. Only bad thing about the trailer...
  7. I've driven home from DECA with my external gate ripped off my manifold before. It wasn't fun NO HOMO Nah, the 180 is going back in to get a proper tune and a few things sorted and will be back for Haunted Hills. I'll do another DECA in it though, next time.
  8. Haha I seem to have lost my balls. I have a feeling they're behind the couch somehwere... I've been seriously tempted to move my entry to the 180, but the STi is begging for a run! Plus RWD is for pre-op transvestites only, it's a proven fact. I read it on the internaz
  9. Are you bringing the R36 as well Matt??
  10. Awesome results Ray!
  11. As Ant said, streets are ok for HH and better than any other track I'd say. I did it in the Clubbie on road tyres and it was still fun. That sucks about not being able to go to Winton, cars always like to throw things at you last minute!
  12. Awesome, thanks a lot Bec
  13. How so Snowy? About what cars you drive (modified road car vs pretty much dedicated race built cars), or what motorsport you do?
  14. Hey Bec, I'll grab the queen on the friday night if it's still available... that sounded all wrong...
  15. Haha then you need to get back and keep protecting! That's a shame, hopefully see you there though. Matt: I think you're right, might be to do with the fact the interior is satin black. I'll see what it look like when I mount it to the window.
  16. That doesn't seem like too bad of a deal considering the tyres/fuel etc in a properly quick car like the R400, it's actually quite good if you were to spread it over a few more people. Pity about the airfare to Europe
  17. Hmmmm, who knows then??! I definitely think it's a vista thing though, it's very glitchy and gives me heaps fo grief. I'll try and run it on my other old laptop and see if it works. Out of curiosity, how much were the R400's to hire at SPA? And are you being re-converted to RWD after all this AWD cheating??
  18. It's strange, the laptop is a few months old and has plenty of everything to spare... must just not like it for some reason. It's a real pain! I'm going to blame Vista
  19. That's weird then, because when I drag the clip in, then publish it the movie ends up with a fat green line through it... perhaps it just doesn't like me?
  20. Considering the bad luck I've had with it while it's been off the road I'm not so sure!
  21. Really interesting thread guys! Thanks for all the info
  22. Thanks Ant Coming to HH? Thanks for the advice Richard. I had it mounted on my cage camera mount, but I might try and shift it up a bit. I've also got a suction cam mount that get's a better angle but as the POV was playing up I didn't get to use it. I'll pop it on for the next event though.
  23. Snowy/Bris, what program are you using for editing the POV film? Do you have to convert them to .wmv files first? Mine is not cooperating... Also, with the fuel cut did it just stop the car completely and require a re-start, or did it regain power again after a while? Seems quite dangerous to just be rolling around!
  24. Ben: Haha Marvin the Marshan has been with the car for 5-6 years now... I was going to take him off but had a bit of an uproar from some mates, so he stays! Maybe I smell? Troy: I just had it hanging near the cage, and I think the MIC volume was way too high (it was on 7). I've experimented with the levels with the rex a bit now, but I think I'll need to tape the mic to the cage to stop it banging around, and turn it down to stop all the distortion when it's on boost. I might locate the mic on the passenger side and keep the window closed, it may have been open as that's how I normally drive. Liam: Definitely mate, I've had 3 turbo's on this car now, and have spent way too much over the past 6 years chopping and changing. Next outing will be Haunted Hills on the 29th, can't wait for it. It's going back into the workshop for a once over and to fix a few niggles, as well as get a re-tune prior so hopefully it's running really well there. I'm not expecting too much as I'm going to run on old tyres until I'm sure there's no bias issues, but will be awesome regardless. It was even heaps of fun in the Clubbie. As for tyres, I get them from Protek tyres in Oakleigh. John is a top bloke. If you want Advan's you may want to speak with Traction Tyres, they're really good guys too and very knowlegeable. Good luck on Friday! Also, here's a vid of a random dyno run on another camera:
  25. Liam, just managed to get my POV1 to work with Windows movie maker, so here's a tiny, crappy clip of a quarter of a warm up lap at Winton before the batteries died
