  1. I don't think I'll be doing Superlap now Troy, I'd rather do PI on the following weekend and can't afford to be doing both. I also don't want to get to NSW with no testing time and have issues with the car, which is sure to happen if it is its first outing. I guess it depends if it's finished early or not...
  2. Their's heaps around the parks, you just don't see them during the day. Nothing new
  3. Just had it confirmed by Nissan too, thanks Troy
  4. Hey guys, quick question: Does the rear handbrake setup from a 33 GTS-T fit inside GT-R rear discs? Is it the same setup for both cars? I'm pretty sure it is, but need confirmation. Cheers Dane
  5. It was done by a local mod here in Melbourne. I can find their name out if you want? Ben: That looks tops mate, love it. Are they Troy's old WEDS? Suit the car really well
  6. Ok, engine in for now! It's been in and out of there like a hot potato, so here's hoping it's there for a little bit. Thanks mate
  7. Coming along nicely now... Rebuilt and painted rear Brembo's, gearbox and 1 pce tailshaft in, trial fitted front CSC's, Engine in for good now...hopefully!
  8. Wow, that is some serious fuel consumption! Oil crisis, shmoil crisis! How did Aaron overcome his overheating issues in the 34? I seem to remember the removal of the undertray having something to do with it, but this is only from my shoddy memory. Does the undertray have ducting in it?
  9. Sorry to hear Snowy and Kel, but at least you're ok and the cars aren't too bad. Could have been a lot worse for both of you me thinks! Snowy, I don't know how you were able to drive it for so long after you thought you had a flat. Lucky it didn't do more damage, I'm surprired it didn't.
  10. It's getting there on my car, hopefully finishing up soon
  11. Fantastic shots Aaron, car looks unbelievably good. Dane
  12. Check this thread out: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Vi...rt-t252576.html
  13. That's great Ben, congrats!
  14. How about something like this? http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Si...le-t254619.html
  15. Why not just fly here and bring it back via the Spirit? I know plenty of people who have done that, and you can arrange inspections on this side too.

    Foxtel

Not much Jap racing stuff, but heaps of car stuff. Get IQ and record it all for later. There's heaps of rally, bikes, circuit stuff, bit of drifting, car building shows (Overhaulin, American Hotrod, Wrecks to Riches etc). It's the main reason I have Foxtel
  17. Sounds like a decent choice you've made their mate. Personally I'd go for an SR, but that's just me. Have you looked into ex-drift cars? Sometimes you can pick up half decent ones with some work done for not much money, just require a fair bit of tidying up from some dodgy modifications.
  18. That seems to be a good way to do it mate, see below: Stu, I bought my C-West from URAS on here a few years ago, and I got it for around $300 from memory. They pop up on the forums every now and then, but I think this version is the best of the aluminium ones, with a nice big plane and good, solid uprights. Chris: This is a front splitter on a 180 that I'm planning on copying for my car, with the addition of NACA ducts to it to aid airflow and help keep the car cool:
  19. I know, but I feel I'll have a harder time getting the grip in the front end than I will in the rear, so not wanting too much of a good thing if you know what I mean!
  20. They speak out of their arse, no doubt... but the fat guy had a point. 32's were recalled due to disc issues. The stock discs are shlt, simple as that, so he was right... just exaggerating a bit
  21. I recall that too Nick, would be good to see results if there ever were any.
  22. I'm just hoping I don't put it on and turn the car into an understeering pig. I'd rather control the back end than deal with that
  23. The mate I sold it to mounted it on his S14, so not as sloped as the rear hatch of my car which is why I think it works quite well on his car, and the reason why I bought this new one which will sit a lot higher than the old one
  24. I used to run a C-West wing on my car, but never on the track. I was defected for it years ago, so took it off and sold it to a mate of mine. His car is very similar to mine, and runs similar times around the track. I went for a spin in his car at Sandown and the rear end definately felt more planted on entry into turn 1, and I'm convinced enough to put one back on in conjunction with front and rear splitters. I ended up buying another C-West Aluminium wing after unsuccessfuly searching for a V8 supercar item, and I'm going to have it mounted to the chassis. I'm sure it will have an effect, but whether it is a positive one I'll have to wait and see. Old Wing New wing
